Your video on servicing and changing the hydrostatic system was excellent! You left no technical questions I may have had unanswered! You also did an excellent job in shooting and editing your video which can be a challenge due to the tight quarters of some areas. Thank you a thousand times over for caring enough to help all of us landscapers keeping our machines up and running. Have a productive cutting season. I know I will thanks to you! Joe T. 🙂

Thanks for making this video you helped me change my filters and oil. I don't mind paying someone to do it if I felt like they would do a good job with care and pride. Good luck with that so I did it my self. Thanks for the video. PS I have a freedom Z

Someone was thinking when they included those vent screws. Mine takes two days to get 4 quarts of oil in it because there is no vent screw. Mine calls for 20w-50 too. I used conventional oil this year like you did but I read on the interweb that synthetic oil is preferred. Not sure if that is true or not, my manual doesn't specify.

Castrol GTX is synthetic so it has the zinc additive they call for and it’s reasonably priced compared to Kawasaki oil at $8.50 a quart

My new cheetah has that spring by the hydro motors stretched across the rear of the mower and it rattles making a tinging noise at idle and when moving the mower around. Does yours do this too?

Since it’s been 7 years now it might be a good time to service it. You wanna do it every 500 hours I believe. But double check your owners manual.

I’m at a loss of words. You put that cheap oil in your pumps for a cheetah? Are you for real? Compare how much a decent oil cost to a new 5400 hydro..... Talk about penny wise and a pound foolish....
