I remember coming back right when the game was was in the second half and it being 13-0 Cardinals. The Redskins made that comeback and got homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. The very next year the Redskins blew a 2 touchdown plus lead. Mark Rypien threw 2 pick sixes to Robert Massey straight to him and eventually the Cardinals came back and won.
Like their game against the Rams the previous week, the Skins had another slow start, only this time, they were down 14-0 as opposed to being up 7-6 at halftime. Of course, Joe Gibbs is a master of making adjustments for the second half, and that shows here. The Cardinals played very well in the first half, but the Skins were too much for them in the second half.
Thank you a ton for this upload!! Only two games I'm missing from '91 is our week 1 match up with Detroit (the NFC championship is copyrighted so I'm sure week 1 is too) and the week 6 game against Chicago. Appreciate every game you've put up.
Because the Cardinals sucked. Other than 1982 and 1984 where they missed out on the playoffs, the St Louis then Phoenix Cardinals just were not that good after say 1984. They got in 1982 in that crazy strike shortened season. Really the only time Sun Devil Stadium sold out for a Cardinal game was when the Cowboys showed up. The Cowboys always traveled well especially when they played there in 1991 and beyond. You can even see the 1992 game where the place sold out when the Cowboys came to town.

I've watched those both here on youtube before. The Detroit game within the last month even (the Chicago game was a long time ago)
