A very heavy rainstorm for us at the Jersey Shore is very likely which means no shoveling for me at all. Awesome.
Having lived in New England for 62 years, I've heard countless times how "a storm is coming." This so called "storm" turns into a whole whopping inch of snow.
Being a meteorologist must be the greatest job.
You never have to be right and you still get paid to pretend you're an actor, getting your audience to listen to your rhetoric hype.
And let's not forget the panic they cause, causing all the lemmings to stampede to the grocery stores to buy all the bread and milk and toilet paper because they think they'll be snowed in for the next six months.
Yup. Happened all last year. These meteorologists (actors) hype a "major winter storm" up all week leading up to it, and then about a day or so before the forecast magically changes from 3-6 inches to 1-3 inches, then to 1 inch, then to a wintery mix... and it just ends up being mostly rain with some flurries. And yet people will still run out to stores and buy 28 cases of water. Maybe the weather stations and grocery chains have a deal set up peepoHmm
Exactly! I dumped cable tv in 2015 now just CZcams. Best forecast? What’s falling out one’s window the day of the big event!

Ugh, they always leave WV out of the forecast.. so I guess we're going to be clear, sunny with temps in the 80's right.
I guess there aren't any local weather stations in the entire state of WV, I also assume weatherbug and other apps don't cover your region...a pity. 1 inch of snow isnt much and over 700 days is 2 years without 1 inch of snow. Possibly getting 4-8 is good for us. Especcially in nyc
