Just for fun, I decided to NOT consult the user's manual just to see what I could figure out on my own.
Enjoy :) - Věda a technologie
Finally someone made a mover with RF remote and shows that's smooth not herky jerky like the usual 4 IR shows. Nice video, that's a lot of bang for the money
Howie Darkstar That looks like my next investment summer
Yup, count me in for being a “non dmx guy”. I like the remote, big thumbs up!
Nice Review Brian I just purchased myself the JMAZ Attco 150's, can't wait to take them out for my first gig!!
Brian, thanks for posting this vid Brother! I dig how light these guys are with that much tech and power inside. I might pick up a few of these and put away my Intimidators away for a bit. I finally threw in the towel and jumped in the shallow end of the pool for DMX. I didn't want to get too complicated for what we do mobile and keeping it compact. Though, I picked up the ADJ MyDMX Go dongle and app 8 months ago. Bro... what a super easy application and ADJ did a really amazing job at designing a mobile compact platform to use on an iPad for the guys like us who've always strayed away from full blow DMX use. Anyway... another great vid Bro and thanks for posting. DJ GUNZ, Key West
Hey Brian, thanks again for another great video! I'm about to buy a couple Attco Spot 100's because I love how powerful and LIGHT these things are. Would you happen to know what size soft Ariba or Accuracies Case these guys would paired with size wise?
These are cool buddy! I kind of want a pair now lol
Was looking at new moving heads and ram across these. I mount my adj inno pockets on a sub pole and they’re just not good enough for me. My question is do you want think these are too heavy to mount the same way. I got that idea from your video on those. Thanks. Great info as always
Great light! What haze machine you use?
Nice fixtures. Thanks for sharing.
Love jmaz lights. I have of those , 4 spot. They both great. I don't need a helper anymore..
That's what I like, simple control and programming
Great video Brian! Always enjoy watching your content. I want to shed some light after reading some of the comments...
- You dont have to run a DMX cable from one light to the other as long as both lights are within the 30’ RF range.
- you can change the “scan degree” so the lights will scan lower angles and not be in the sky as much.. this is true for any given remote-control-preset.
-they measure roughly about
11.5” x 8.25” x 8.5” and weigh 7.7lbs
- you can change their speed by using the “Dimmer >” button on the remote.
I’ll keep adding more as I continue to read more comments.. 🍻
lets cut to the chase, price per unit
As long as they are within 30 feet, then no dmx cable ? Meaning internal wireless transmission ?
Hi Buddy.... have you played with the ATCO Spot 200? what do you think about the product overall? quality? etc.
looking at getting the new Mad Par Hex 6XS but want to know more about the longevity/quality of all their products I guess...thanks in advanced.
do you still have to link them together master slave (connect a wire) or do they just speak to each other? allways bugged me that dj's always buy at least two of these moving heads yet no company makes them with this fact in mind.
Finally bought a pair of these
Love the RF remote
Ey buddy, wish one is better for you, attco beam 100 or attco spot 100? Between those 2 wish one you prefer, I like the spot on your video but I haven't seen a good video like yours explaining about the beam 100
When using the remote, how were you getting them to do the same
But do the opposite of the other unit
Like! They are fun! Smooth video (:
I got some jMaz uplights and they exceeded my expectations. These seem very nice as well. Looking for upgrading but not at this price. Would love to get some recommendation for good moving heads under $200 since I haven't done this for that long.
$200 is very budget. I'm not aware of anything that's not pretty low end at that price point
@@briansredd there are lots of these cheaper ones but I guess not as powerful. Thanks for the reply though.
What would you recommend for starting out? Spend more on decent moving heads initially or later?
What about for a slow dance?
Cool lights!!!👍
Hi Brian, will this work with Totems? Is there a Totem mode?
Totem Mode is a name Chauvet came up with. They are just built in shows that work well on truss sticks, on the ground, upside down, forwards, backwards, etc. ADJ & others do the same thing as well & just call it different stuff, but to answer your question, yes, absolutely. That's what those 9 built in modes & shows are about
Great Video as Always. You have certainly helped me for the last 5 years. What about the ColorKey Mover Spot 100 80 Watt Moving head? I can't find anything on that product. It has a prism and motorized focus just like the Attco Spot 100. Any info would be great. Also, the Pocket pro, the Attco Spot 100 and the Colour Key are all pretty much the same price. About $500.00 each. I have 8 Pocket pros, (25 watt led and manual focus) but these two are something I'm thinking seriously about buying. With the Led Power they bring, it's almost a slam dunk. Your comments would be invaluable.
Hey Brian, are you able to do the intro or speech spot with the remote and save it?
I don't think it's that advanced with the RF, but you can still absolutely do it via DMX
@@briansredd see thats the one thing you need the ability to spot without dmx they missed a trick
This are on my buy list, do you happen to have the dimensions of the spot? I'm not sure if what they list is packaging or the fixture it self.
With my tape, it looks like 9 1/4" W 5 1/2" deep & maybe 11 1/4" H
@@briansredd very cool thank you. I started with Jmaz crazy spot 60s, and they still are going strong. But it's time to upgrade :)
Northwest Audio Event DJs Any interest in selling the 60s?
@@lukeschwegel2858 yes, well be listing them soon.
Northwest Audio Event DJs where do you plan on listing them?
Did you do the pan/tilt invert from the remote?
No I did that in the menu on the slave
Can you show us how you're making the other light do the same thing but in a different direction so both are not panning left together or right together?
Is there an app to control the moving heads besides de remote ?
You can use any DMX controller you want, just like any other moving head. This just has the additional RF capability
Ok thanks
Did you buy them or did you get them just for review
Demo stuff
briansredd great job how Brite are they
@@DjBriteEyes Pretty bright. 75 watts. I have no idea what the lumins are
@@briansredd thanks Brian when is the next DJ show/expo thanks again

Grrrrr....I hate this video. I got rid of all my dmx dance floor lighting and swore off moving lights - Now I want these. Must...re....sist
The bad news is there's more from where that came from ;)
