I've swapped to outlaw from enhance and have really enjoyed watching your content. I cannot seem to maintain high ADR uptime but the spec is a ton of fun and watching your play has been hugely helpful. Love your tweaks to Naowh's UI. I use his as well and you made some nice changes.

Augury for outlaw is pretty good in st but bad in aoe since it has crit on it instead of agility and the damage proc doesn't scale very well with target count

Imo you should play HO until +25 keys since it's easier to manage and less punishing

I've seen a lot of guides recommending the Hidden Opportunities build but I only see KiR from actual players. What's the pros and cons for these builds? I struggled to maintain energy and damage while using the KiR build outside crackshot windows, any tips for that? Is echoing reprimand the key for that? I'm not sure how echoing reprimand even works. Informative outlaw rogue vids are so hard to find, thank you for making this video!
I'm glad you enjoyed the vid! KiR is better than HO in keys, but the downsides of KiR and the reason that guides only recommend HO is because KiR punishes rotational mistakes way more than HO and if you die as KiR you will do no damage until you get rolling again. If you notice that something is consistently wrong with your energy then you should record your rotation and compare your globals to the rotation found in the rogue discord.

Is the KIR build the top m+ build? I guess with the ace up your sleeve procs, going with vigor in the class tree doesnât matter since energy shouldnât be an issue? I havenât played since November 2022 and I just came back yesterday and I wanna make sure Iâm playing the optimal build on my outlaw
I'd definitely recommend playing HO until you really get the hang of outlaw since its way more punishing to make a mistake as kir since you dont have vigor

@@dpspump hey dude I already installed everything so i have everythign set up basically same as you now :) One question: do you macro ghostly strike to be used once you press your finishers or you press it separately? One thing i found out with KiR build is that a lot of times if im not lucky with RtB i get super dry on energy and have to just auto-attack and wait till my energy restore to use spells. I wonder if it is because I use macro for ghostly strikes to be used before everytime it coems out of CD on my finishers (Dispatch or BtE)?
@@kayoritv I wouldn't recommend macroing gs to anything since its very good to use it to guarantee landing on your animacharged (blue) cps. Luck is very very rarely what's causing you to be super dry on energy and its almost always some kind of rotational mistake.
Super nice easy guide. I'm juggling between HO and KiR recently eventho I find myself a bit more confident on HO for now. Would you recommend KiR for Raid too? Cause for ST it seems HO has a bit of an edge (cheers)
I wouldn't recommend kir in raid since kir performs well in m+ because of deft manuevers cp generation in aoe and higher uptime on grand melee. Since you don't have the cp generation in st and grand melee is bad in st kir performs worse than ho in raid usually. But ofc its only about 2% behind so you can play it if you want

Hello this was very helpfull as a new Outlaw. Can you explain how echoing reprimant works? Do i have to hit the exact amount of blue combo points to get value or only one blue point? And is this a thing i have to take care of specifically? i find it really hard to get to the exact amount of points, with pistol shot procs i often have too much CB. :D ty!
You don't play around it you just treat the blue combo points as 7 so you use a finisher instead of another builder when you land on a blue cp
I just reinstalled the game, Boosted a character is this a good guide for being without tier pieces or anything. I have no clue how to play this game or class

Hey, how were you able to get the dh head on your rogue? I couldn't find it to drop on any boss but could be mistaken.
I think it's the boe version of the helm, or maybe just the off piece that you get from raid

For some reason I enjoy playing HO more. I feel it has a much smoother rotation and doesn't rely as much on rng. Also, ambush as a builder just feels better. What do you think?
I agree 100% but unfortunately kir does more damage in keys so I play it
Is KIR better than the other standard outlaw build without it? I've seen most of the top outlaw rogues using KIR. Is there any downside to Kir ?
Kir does more aoe than ho but is very punishing if you die since you don't have any energy outside of adrenaline rush

this build never uses ambush since it's the keep it rolling build (the one that uses Ambush is hidden opportunity)
Damn i failed my rolle the bones all the timeđ need the WA i guess to keep it up / extended.
Single target is the same as aoe i guess rotation wisely just without bladeflurry

@Dpspump Good video, seems about the way I figured it would be played. Just curious what is the reason for the roll at 6:25 that is the part of the rotation I'm not sure about. Like when to roll when you have multiple buffs up and they still have plenty of time left. I figured if you had good buffs you wouldn't want to roll until late because it could overwrite them or is that not the case? Thanks!
It's a pretty minor thing but after using Keep It Rolling, once the buffs that got extended by it reach 37 seconds or less they don't get overwritten by the next roll the bones cast so if you get lucky you can get additional buffs for free without losing the ones that got extended.
may i ask what addon your using for the numbers to be thicker
You can change the font using Elvui (Current font is expressway), just search font at the top right of the Elvui window
I want to ask why some people use Dispatch to consume BtE procs and prefer not to spam BtE like in your video?

I'm pretty sure you're looking at their gcd addon and it shows up as them pressing dispatch right after bte since it considers the dispatch from a crackshot bte (read crackshot) as a real cast in some addons. They're not actually consuming the bte procs with dispatch ^^

I wanna play a rogue but im legit too stupid to figure out the rotation and how to play, i can watch hours of different guides and not get any of a sense of how to play the class, im a physical learner but i cant just figure it out by myself so im stuck to easy specs like ret and ww and fury

You can have them on whatever slot fits the best for you and it doesn't matter
When playing Loaded Dice shouldnt i first do AR and then RTB?
Think of it as an investment since you're sacrificing a little bit of damage in the first >10 seconds to guarantee having 3+ rtb buffs for the entire rest of the fight by casting your first rtb without LD
but how do you do the snd thing though? to get 6 buffs before key starts
"Consuming an Animacharged CP with BtE/Dispatch causes future Slice and Dice casts to be treated as 7 CP even if you actually cast it at 1-2 CP.
This means once the bug is active you can /cancelaura Slice and Dice /cast Slice and Dice spam to quickly rack up a lot of Restless Blades CDR at the cost of a dead global.
The bug cancels itself after casting BtE/Dispatch again so it is awkward to abuse in actual combat. It also cancels itself when ER comes off cooldown, unless you consume all the animacps first." - Courtesy of the rogue discord ^^

Hey dude ! thanks for the video, i've been trying a really similar build, but i'm having an issue that i really don't know how to deal with. With all CDs, the first minute of my fight goes well (prio to vanish, then spam bte, shadow dance, spam bte, reset dices etc) but then more often than i would like i find myself with no SD, Vanish, and AR cooldowns, low energy and my momentum just completely crashes changing my ~100/130k dps into a cringe and unfluid 30k dps, and i really don't know what to do..
Have you or anyone else been in a similar situation ?

Rotational mistakes get punished very heavily with this build so you're probably making many of them if your dps drops by that much. I would recommend rechecking the rogue discord for more rotational info

If crit was 50% of its value. Like let's say it's worth 5. Now worth 2.5. Would it still be better than Mastery or Haste?
That scenario would never happen since you can't attain enough crit to get to 50% diminishing returns on it but it would still probably be better than haste and only worse than mastery in aoe. Always just sim it though it will give you the most accurate answer
Im asking actually hypothetically, because in PVP, Crit is only 50% effective.
So was wondering if on average 1-2 targets, crit would still be best in pvp DPS wise, would another stat take over? Or would crit theoretically still be best.
Like if right now, in M+ Or Raid Single target, that nerfed crit for outlaw by half. Would it still be surpreme@@dpspump theres no sim i can find that include the pvp crit modifer
Pvp is a whole different story and I have no idea but vers would still probably be by far better than crit anyway as it is in pve

Essentially imagine a pve scenario where crit is 50% nerfed. Is it far enough above the other stats value wise to be #1?

Has anyone experience a bug where breaking stealth from vanish does not trigger the 6 second Crack shot window? This only occurs occasionally when i try to BtE after a vanish.
The only thing I can think of is I have a macro that uses ghostly strike and my trinkets before BtE
Its the trinkets. I macrod my trinkets and had the same happen. Removed the trinkets from vanish macro and fixed it

I wouldn't recommend binding your trinkets to any ability btw, you can however make a
/use 13
/use 14
macro if youre running both mydas talisman and bandolier and have 1 keybind for both trinkets (what i do)

I'd say so yeah, way better to play something like ret paladin or bm hunter as a beginner

Do you have the attention span of a 10 year old? Just look at the center of the screen and read what he's showing you? Or you have godlike peripheral vision and are unable to focus on anything that doesn't move? Simular to reptiles?

@@pokguy Been playing since Vanilla and never needed to be a jumpy frog to play decently. The guy is showing information in the screen and moving it a lot. Not useful.

I felt the same but I practiced a bunch of low keys tell I got comfortable with good weakauras, unfortunately the spec is much easier with good WA but it will come I promise just keep at it I am crushing 20+ keys now top dps
