- The Glastonbury Modelers are a group of free flight aircraft enthusiasts that fly gliders and rubber powered models at the Glastonbury High School Gym located at Glastonbury, CT. Throughout the fall and winter, we gather once a month to fly our models. This video is a collection of models flying from our first session of the 2023/24 season. Our next flying session will be held on November 5th.

Sam , your Albatross D1 looks great , I have a Dumas Pfalz D3 on the shelf just waiting for me to build . I hope it flies as nice as your D1 does . Nice plane man .

It's a great flyer. There are several other models in the same line similar to the Comet dimers. All very lightly constructed. Thanks for watching!
Thanks John! That is the B.A. Swallow then! Those old Guillows plans are very simple and there are a lot of neat subjects also!
Indeed! They're great choices for indoor dimers. I have a couple of the other plans out here on my bench and hope to give another one a try.

It's an obscure airplane with only three ever being built and the president of the company was killed in a crash ending the company. I include a bit of the history in my video. Thanks for watching.
