I can relate to that at 12 father was a drug dealer when i was young he couldn't teach me how to be a man but but he taught me how to survive in the streets and thrive no matter your environment what you are taught and learn becomes a second reflex its a means to a end
Getting locked up changed me and this was 20 years ago. Believe it or not I'm 50 years old and I wasn't a man until I got locked up. It taught me how to be a grown man and take responsibility of my actions and to understand that my family was my responsibility to take care of I guess that's why my old lady sleeping in the other room right now because if it wasn't for me she'd be sleeping on her mom's dime at her mother's house. I would much rather have everything come from my end because that's my role as the man and the father to my kids and the husband to my wife
Well said brother but somethings are better left unsaid I only confide with family if even that I am not proud of what has happened and you are probably not either. but I don't talk ever about what is going on or what has happened . To me it would be an injustice to talk about my family and my brothers and sisters who were all in this s*** because of me

The key term he used was "small amounts", it's not like he was a major dealer at 12. Hell, I grew up in a good neighborhood in Canada and there were 12 year old kids who sold a little weed, it's not that uncommon.
