My sister recently passed and she was in Hospice Care at her home. I believe being home made her transition to death more peaceful. Thank you to all of the Hospice nurses, your job is not easy. Great film.
@@iamloveparadise I’m so sorry. I wish I didn’t know the pain you are suffering. The biggest thing I can say is to accept that you may not feel better for a really long time and allow yourself to really break down and let out every emotion. That’s really hard and scary to do, but it did help me. It’s been 5 months and everything reminds me of my sister now, songs, movies, even what I choose to wear. I get jealous and sad when people speak of their sister and visiting them, etc. She was my only sister and it hurts so bad. I don’t know about you but I also kind of look a lot like my sis, so sometimes my own image makes me tear up. My sister was older than me and only in her late 40s. I felt so strange at the funeral because I wasn’t her mom, child, or spouse. Everyone was so kind, but there seems to be barely any advice or coping skills given to siblings of dead loved ones. Know what I mean? How about you? How are you coping? Was your sister older or younger than you? Did this pandemic make spending time with her in her final days an issue? I certainly hope not. You are in my prayers.
@@briarrose29 Thank you And I am so sorry for you as well. I’ll be praying for you and your family, my condolences. It was my oldest sister and she was a great woman. She told us she had cancer 2 1/2 months ago, I cried for two months straight , broke down, prayed, I went through it all for two months. I’m so glad she isn’t suffering anymore. Always remember this life is temporary, God said, life is a vapor, here then gone the next. You will see your sister again in heaven and I understand it’s really hard, my younger brother just passed away 2 months ago also right after my sister found out she had cancer. Our family lost them both. I’ve just been thinking how happy my sister is now with her new body. I know she’s with God in her eternal life so it gives me comfort.
This is a touching movie of compassion. Compassion of a nurse. I just got out of the ER where I was ignored, not given water for an hour after I started asking for water. I am a 80+++ senior and had a most insensitive and uncaring nurse. I'm sure she would not treat her grandma the way she treated me.
That’s why it’s important to have someone’s support because they will take advantage of or simply not take the correct care if they see that no one is caring for you and that’s just the way it is- have seen it lots of times. Sad but real.
Most people shut down all emotion because they can't handle illness. They wind up thinking of their patients as cattle rather than human beings because it's easier, emotionally. It happened to my mother 13 years ago. The medical staff was exceptionally cold and cruel. I'm sorry that happened to you. We need to educate people...they are in the health CARE profession. They should learn how to care and show it. It isn't about them...they are in service to _us._

I love the integrity of Linda Lanvin's roles. I discovered her only today, but having watched two of her movies, I want to see them all. The high standard of her acting turns her acting profession into her calling. The huge need for the compassion she portrays so very clearly is desperately needed in hospitals, schools, one-on-one conversations, and in every walk of life. The gifts of the Spirit shown here are most precious to those who need them most, while the world looks on with scorn.

The only problem with this film is it's too short..
What a beautiful movie and story line. The acting and actors were awesome too.
God bless this nurse, we have good nurses, but we need more like her.
Fabulous!!! I'm hooked ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so very much for uploading this movie. It has been long remembered by me and is one of my favorites.
An absolutely exceptional film. In an industry that mainly is fixated on ratings it took courage and integrity to choose this subject. And then to get a budget to make it was no small feat. Congratulations to all involved and a stellar performance from Linda Lavin and great support from all the cast.
linda lavin... the mom from wonder years... the lady from cagney n lacey n judging amy... what a treat!
Heart felt movie... so inspiring.. loved it.
I loved this movie. Humour with sadness. The little boy on the horse @1:30 made me laugh. Saddle was waaayyy to big, he looked like he was doing the splits on that saddle. Hold on, big guy!! There were a lot of tears in this movie....GET THE KLEENEX you all!!
Thanks for the great upload. Totally enjoyed it, along with the mixed emotions!!
I love these old made-for-tv movies.
Hospice Nurses are some of the best people I've ever worked with.
Linda Lavin is such a good actress. Another Brillant Movie of hers. ... Nurses are so Brillant, what would we do without them. It was such a great movie....When we think of all the GREAT WORK ALL THE HOSPITAL STAFF HAVE DONE RIGHT THROUGH THIS PANDEMIC , GOING IN TO THE 3RD YEAR. GOD BLESS THEM ALL. Thank You for the download. 🤗⚘🤗⚘🤗⚘🤗⚘
The cigarette machine in a hospital cafeteria, that goes way back...
