My God, where did this song come from? Such a haunting masterpiece, overwhelming beauty.
Trust
This has become one of my favourite songs in the world.
She is a once in a generation talent of epic proportions. She has no rival to my ears at the moment
musicsaves97 you're totally right 👌🇩🇰💗
she's brilliant , but there are others
At around 3:07 she makes a single note sound unbelievably good, very unique song structure.
Love this version of the song
Heaven hid her face as we fell down
Age old habits echoed in the ground
One would sing and one would hold me down
They might listen if I make no sound
Oh I know this
From my high school heart
That nothing is over
From a touch it will begin
Wide on the sky
In my house the silence rings so loud
Under doorways, through the hallway down
Waiting for the secret to grow out
Oh what we do when no one is around
Oh I know this
From my high school heart
That nothing is over
From a touch it will begin
Wide on the sky
In the dark I hear you sing
Fingers move and chords they ring
Be the witness of my shame
Swaying in the summer rain
Feathers falling from your wing
In the dark I hear you sing
This song is so good its made the world a better place
The most elegantly dressed woman in the music industry
It's so unique, I feel like Agnes Obel embraces listener with music. Stunning performance.
Joel Miller... You're right. DIVINE is exactly the word to describe this voice and this bewitching music. I'm "obsessed" with her music since 2 years ago already
The harmonies of the ladies are amazing.
Ne kadar güzel. Bir kasım nöbetinin son dakikalarını böyle geçirmek... Kulübenin camlarına dokunan yaprakları dökülmüş ince ve kuru dallar eşliğinde... Dışarıdan gelen sonbahar esintileriyle... İyi ki varsınız Agnes. 🧡
this is DIVINE!
Sometimes a song seems heaven sent, as a gift to us.....Sometimes a song is created as a gift back to God....He thanks you Agnes.
Poor judgement remains obsolete when selecting this beautiful art
pretty much my fav track of 2016 and I was lucky enough to see her perform it live in Birmingham (UK)
She is a creature of the heavens...
Truly haunting ,in the most beautiful wau
I'm on my knees...
It’s just beautiful,I can’t say anymore
This song is a masterpiece. Thanks, Agnes Obel 💜
The oh so silky-softness of the vocals on this is exquisite clear through the fade-out.
All of them are sooo good

Magnifique!

Unbelievable!!!
..MG...angel voices
0:35 PHOEBE!
Piękna kobieta i piękna muzyka!!
Calming.
Does anyone know what instrument is being used at 4:12 ? It sounds angelic but I can't find the name of it
Perhaps some sort of glockenspiel, music box or chime? It is one of the sounds you can make on the keyboard. Hope this helped ✌
It's an omnichord :-)
SUBLIME
Каеф!
what's phoebe buffay doing here
Pretty sound, but she doesn't enunciate so the lyrics are totally lost.
That's part of her thing though... Like, that's the point. She's said earlier that she likes it when the words sound like their own melody. So like, the lyrics aren't really the point, if that makes sense.
Enunciate all you want, but if you can't shine emotion into your songs, you're not creating like Agnes can and the many artists like her of which I like. Their delivery I find fitting -- It's not everyone's taste, obviously, so just move on and listen to your perfectly enunciating artists. fyi: Don't listen to any of Bob Dylan's songs. Don't look at paintings with soft edges, or look at photographs with soft-focus/blur applied to it.
Maybe stick with watching plays and operatic performances and stay away from free flowing music.
troll or just silly. watevs. smh
Patricia Merrill If you think Agnes is hard to decipher listen to the Cocteau Twins from the 80's (who are obviously an influence). It's more about the beauty of the sound and mood than some literal meaning
All of her songs are like that, that’s just her style. Some places post her lyrics but with the different parts and harmonies together you just appreciate the talent they present and just listen.
It’s Impressionism for your ears. Her vocals are sublime. I saw her live in Edinburgh two months ago. She was utterly incredible.
