  • The Supreme Court of India fixed responsibility for misleading advertisements while hearing a case against Patanjali. The court said celebrities and influencers are equally liable and responsible for endorsing misleading advertisements. This comes after Patanjali repeatedly spread misleading claims about ‘cures’ for serious diseases including diabetes, BP, epilepsy, and even Covid.

    Supreme Court should act against such politicians who endorse and spread misinformation among Indian consumers. Mostly because matter of Patanjali is in the Supreme Court.
