Honestly i think most of the problems are just beacuse the bike its eaging and you need to put some money and effort on it to make it shine XD i think any other brand after some years and km have problems its like cars... I have a honda 1000rr 2017 and i have no problems like this.
bro let me be honest and i mean no disrespect at all but i own a 2008 cbr600rr hanspree edition taken very well care of it is always the right fairing there should be a cable that is near the plastic you should be able to tape it up and should hold on and fix those cables hanging something might catch onto them and cause you to slide or cash and make sure to get the best parts for the bike the honda is very reliable
Why don’t your rear brakes work? You know it takes like 5 minutes to change out the pads. You need rear brakes. You grab a handful of front in an emergency your going over the top.
Add a little super glue to each of the clip lugs when putting em on, and once cliked on to place they DO NOT COME out. Done the same on my 08 RR and it works just perfectly.
@@macawed Ancient mechanic here. Use clear RTV instead. Peels right off but stays put otherwise. Also makes a good support for poorly supported electrical pigtails. Works on wallowed automotive plastic holes etc too.

the "sunfade" at the top of the triple clamp isn't from sun but the keychain of the key blowing in the wind and rubbing against it over time, if you dont want it to happen I suggest you lose that metal motorcycle you got hanging on your key

The shits totally fucked when i got it thinking i can order a new headlight an cheap fairings, well when half the shits missing to begin with the Chinese puzzle becomes that much harder, ready to hulk smash this front cowl an headlight assembly, i got a bolt kit but ive had to file down these speednuts in order for the headlight assembly to fit somewhat snug. The fuckin front harness is a mess, no BAS but i rode it home so dude bypassed it but rest blinkers an spliced wires coming off headlight wires or whatever hell, iam dreading the rest an dammit it bet not still looked clapped out when iam done or iam settin it on fire lol
Just decide to do it right. One way to see how assemblies go together is view exploded parts breakdowns online from parts sellers. You can ask you dealer to print parts catalog pages for you too. Properly splicing wires (none of that horrid auto store connector BS unless you remove the sleeves with a lighter and needlenose to get the copper lug or barrel) isn't hard nor is covering the splice with heat shrink. If you need to solder and are new, practice on scrap. Liquid flux is your friend as is alcohol to clean off flux when done. I love scoring other peoples mistakes when the price is right and after doing a few you'll get fast and good same as wrenching cars. Doing this stuff pays off for life.

My 05 has 40,000 miles and still runs smooth. Valve adjustments every two years including proper routine maintenance. It sees track days and daily commutes and never gives me trouble. Youre complaining about a bike while missing a bar end...but I 100% agree about the aeat. Fuck the seat.
07-08 is the best cbr 600 to this day. And stupid reliable too. My 07 has 38k and rides smooth as butter with basic maintenance. Like not a single issue ever at all lol.
Idk man my 2013 i literally fucked up some of the clips cause they annoying af, but i hit 140 with thousands of miles and MISSING clips it holds jsut fine no turbulence. It doesnt warp or nothing. I will say i left the lock for the gas open when it rained, and its been fucking rusted and shit man. It was already sensitive but if i dont hit it with wd40 or chain cleaner after a couple months i could snap my key ong Started keeping a cover with me. If its not in a garage its under covers. And how you gonna pop wheelies but complain about your forks man 🤣 Man trade in for the next gen bro! Get you something near or under 10k miles after 2013 you be straight
This is the best year for the cbr600 because after this they started restricting the engine… but ima get new plastics from a better brand this summer and see where it takes me
I have a 2004 CBR600RR with no issues. And I’ve taken my fairing on and off several times and no boots broke or clips broke. Now my 2020 1199 Panigale, the fairing came loose on that one and that’s a new bike.

Almost bought an 07 cbr 600rr. But went with my guy and passed. Bike ride like shit and the rear sets were way to fucking high and angled to even sit normally. The oil level was way too high and the bike stalled out every time I tried to move. Ended up getting an 07 gsxr 600 and I’m still doing a shit load of work on it. You really can’t win with older bikes. I mean they are cheaper but you end up paying for it with DIY repairs and parts.
It’s not the bikes… it’s the awful owners who just ride them and neglect maintenance/care. But gsxrs are so beautiful but that headlight throws off the whole bike
