I love mcdreamy, I hope the creator's can truly create and don't kill him off and find a way to show that not every story have to end in tragedy and show that some relationships can actually last. It may be rear but what is hope if all the shows ends up the same way.

resumindo, ele disse que é um fardo muito grande carregar o apelido de McDreamy, pq tem dias que ele acorda e não se sente nem um pouco assim. mas disse que fica muito feliz ao mesmo tempo porque é um elogio e tanto e tenta sempre agradar as pessoas que o chamam assim não frustrar suas expectativas. depois ele disse que é muito grato por greys e pelo amor que as pessoas têm pelo relacionamento da Meredith e Derek pq isso abriu muitas portas pra ele.

Not to be a Debbie downer, but I am one of the few people who saw merder as rather toxic at times and Mcdreamy was not Mcperfect so I am sure he has less to work on than he thinks. I can't see Mr Dempsy putting a diamond ring in the forest or not showing 1% understanding that she ruined his trial knowing the circumstances. Anyhoo, I bought the whole I am your knight in shining whatever but it seems when he wasn't around that's when Meredith learned to really shine. I'm more of a Mark fan (flawed and doesn't hide it)

Well sure the merder relationship was problematic at times but it was an 11 year relationship on TV and it's common for there to be plenty of drama where the couple is going through issues and with Meredith being the title character of the show, she's not going to really be written as the villain in the relationship when things are going bad between them.
I adore Mark as well however ALL his relationships until his last one with Julia were also problematic and has levels that people would consider toxic especially in his relationship with Lexie (who i also adored and love with him when they were a couple).
These are characters that should be on any kind of pedestals but seem as flawed characters (with some being more flawed than others).
The emotional connection towards particularly Derek and merder in the pull for their fans was that we felt Derek's deep love for Meredith despite the fact he could be an a**hole at times and for many, we enjoyed that they endure their challenges and decided to be together even if they could annoy the helll out of each other!
I don't think that mcdreamy ever considered himself perfect however he could be self right when it came to his career and knowledge of his job but they also show the human side when he grew a lot of self doubt because of his patient losses.
And as he told Meredith a number of times, she saved him from himself when he arrived in seattle because of his marriage breakdown and there was the episodes of Meredith drowning and me on death door when we were told if she died, it would destroy Derek.
Still it's all up to the individual interpretation so if you see him in the way you do, I'm certainly not saying from your perspective that you are wrong.
