Bakugan Battle Brawlers OST (The Store)
Bakugan: Battle Planet is a remake and retold story of the original series, Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Bakugan: Battle Planet is a Japanese-Canadian animated series set to premiere in the US and Canada in December 2018, and the rest of the world in January 2019. Like the original series, it will be a co-production between Japan's TMS Entertainment and Canada's Nelvana.
Call it copium if you want, But I like to believe That there were people at Spin master, that worked on this gen, wanting to make an actually fun game but some 62 Year old exec saw that saw the hype and excitement Beyblade X was getting pre-release and went "Kids like spinning tops! We'll make bakugan Spinning tops" So they scrapped whatever they originally had planned after Legends and rushed out Gen 3 giving devs next to no time to plan, prototype, and develop an actual game.
I know this sounds like I'm Hogging the Copium container but this is really the only way I can understand bakugan devolving into whatever Gen 3 is...

Watching this kinda makes me glad that gen 3 only just hit my country on the 20th this month. Also kinda makes me glad i didn't just waste 90 USD on the battle arena. (Yes, that's how much it is in my country). Still love the videos ya make tho.
This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with this IP. It's clearly obvious that Gen 3's gameplay & mechanics are surface level and exist just so they can say it does.
So shocked in a bad way, I really miss the Bakugear mechanic from gen 2 (by far the best fr me), the games were actually enjoyable and Bakugan made more sense, sell the IP Spinmaster, let someone fix your mistakes
This makes me glad I only got 3 or 4 total products of this gen. I knew the game sucked, but watching it in action is a total different level.

@@Bakutalk it’s for both actually, some of the rules from the basic game also apply to the Master rules (with a few exceptions), at least according to the Bakugan Official Channel

They're still forcing bakugan just for kids when their customers are adult who buys it for their child or adult fans themselves... They got rid of the card game for this...
They should really take notes from beyblade not the gimmick but on how it would appeal to adults and children...
Honestly, my head canon is that Spinmaster decided they were tired of making new Bakugan toys because of how insanely popular they became in such a short time after the reboot with both old and new fans enjoying it, so they made this shitty ripoff reboot of a reboot so quickly and fudged the playstyle so heavily that it would turn people off of the show and the toys as a whole so they could eventually have an excuse to stop making new toys.
Spinmaster in 2024/2025: Oh no! Our Bakugan profits have tanked. Guess we'll have to move onto something new then I guess. Oohhh well. (Proceeds to slide several pre-production 3D molds off the table and into the trash with their arms.)

Yeah that's definitely not the case, I'm fairly certain it was costing them more money than they wanted to spend to keep the card game makers around, they probably just wanted to minimize the amount of effort going into the card side and sabotaged the card game to prove to themselves in their own little way that they'd make money on the toys regardless
Yikes, yeah the base game sucks, even with the most "advanced" rules, I have actually resorted to cooking up my own game mode with my friend for this generation because I am not a fan of this at all. While my game mode has a few very BIG flaws, it is WAY better than whatever the official rules are.
This is why I hopped out of Gen 3
The toys are mid at best
The gameplay is horrible
And SM just does not give a shit
I mean, Konami cares more about their fanbase and all they want is money, that alone is saying something

@fangkitten9622 I love Drago and all that(even though his base design needs some work), but he got cooked faster than Ventri did . At least Ventri managed to her opponent winded(somehow). Drago barely lasted his fight, and that's even bringing up the fact that Ventri won her fight against the insect clan. It doesn't even help that in his fight against Ventri bro didn't even land a hit on her.
