Quando ela esteve com o único concerto em Riga, a capital de Letonia, fui a sua intérprete para a conferência de imprensa e depois tive a sorte de falar com ela. Ela falava crioulo, mas eu percebía tudo. Tambem fui convidada ao concerto no teatro de ópera. É uma memoria inolvidável.

True, its a matter of opinion as to whether this is the "best version" of her own song . What if this was the only version she gave of this song ? What I know is that the song carries a message that transcends even the performance itself more so to the people referenced. It conjures up nostalgic feelings of a place and a people she deeply misses- an allusion to Portuguese-African history . It has another dimension to it ; more of an anthem like status though I wouldn't go far to say that. Your post could be misleading and a bit "offensive" especially now that you wanted the youtube audience to know you're a true fan of her works. But this is my opinion , I would be wrong too.
