After six (6!!!) hours of rendering, here it is. Omg.
So I watched the pilot episode of Riverdale like a year ago, it was good, but I just didn't watch it further for some reason. And then, Like 1 or 2 weeks ago, I saw daniyalive's FANTASTIC video about them ( • Jughead & Veronica | F... ), and then I saw the promo of 2x14 where they kiss, and I fell in love with this ship hard and fast. I binge-watched the episodes in a few days, and now here I am with a 5 minutes long video.
Their story is really fascinating for me because of all those parallels and similar storylines, and it's just so amazing to watch these two characters who are the two sides of the same coin. They both belong to Riveradale's royalty, and there's a war between their family, and omg. Just soo many feels and possibilities. I don't even know why (seriously, why?), but they have like 3 scenes together, despite both of them being in the core four. They are supposed to be friends, but we don't see them doing stuff together, and it's disappointing a bit. I really-really hope that will change, I don't even care if it won't be romantic, I just need them to interact AT ALL.
So with this video, I wanted to capture a bigger picture. The war and hate between the familys and the two sides of the town, Jughead's and Veronica's role in all this. It just really really exciting for me to watch. And I really hope you like the video :))

If you're a Bughead fan who's about to write a comment how they hate Jeronica and how they love Bughead - omg, DON'T. The amount of comments like this is just ridiculous, and after 5 months since I have posted this video, I'm losing my patience. I have been in the vidding community for almost five years now, and I have uploaded 162 videos, but I have NEVER had a video where the comment section is just full of unrelevant comments.
I mean, for example, the Jonerys and the Jonsa fandom has their UGLY fights and war, but I have like 2 people commenting at my Jonsa videos saying the ship is shit? And like 2 people come at my one Jonerys video commenting the same? And we're talking about literally incest ships, which many people can find disgusting, but somehow everyone can manage to stay in their lane? But here it is, a video about a fun, innocent, non-canon ship, with two unrelated characters, and there are like 70 Bughead fans losing their shit over it in the comment section.
Maybe because many of the Bughead fans are just so young and they don't understand the unwritten rules and etiquette of fandoms and shipping yet? But if so, let me explain: we do not watch videos of ships we do not like so we can write shit about them. We do not. (There's someone here who literally said I shouldn't make videos about Jeronica bc Lily and Cole are dating in real life. I mean, correlation?? Where?) No offense to the Bughead stans who do not do this, like fellow vidders who commented, I know you're the majority

I'm actually a Bughead Shipper I have to say honestly but I'm completely right, everyone has their own opinion and it's not a rule not to make videos about ships that do not exist or are not that popular. I mean we are all a community and should just be nice to each other and accept other opinions. PS: I love the video you are really talented ❤️

I just realized how similar Jughead and Veronica’s lives are, they have the same issues in a different life style, moneys not what makes these characters alike it’s story of how rich and poor live the same issues in a different way. They had daddy issues which their dad was the bad guy. Now Veronica has to save Archie from what her dad does. Jughead has to stop Betty from becoming like him and his dad. So far both of them have failed. Betty helped with a murder. Archie is starting to agree with Veronica’s dad when he’s in the wrong. Their lives connect so much that they basically live the same life.

I always thought they’re the same (though ideologically on opposite sides). Their parents are part of a criminal gang... their fathers have committed crimes and been in prison. They have a dark side to their lives, but they still try to do what’s right. They’re loyal to their loved ones to a fault.
That’s why they’re attracted to their opposites - the so-called good kids, the girl/boy next door.
Usually people who are very similar are not attracted to each other. It’s preferable to pair up with someone who complements you.
However, when couples who are similar do pair up... the bond is so strong that they are almost unbreakable. The hard part about such couples is that they would accentuate the strengths and weaknesses rather than balance each other out. Thus when they act together, it’s an unstoppable force that may explode in the end and destroy all in their path.

People always question me “why?” I say that they have some sort of connection, like Romeo and Juliet or something ❤️ ever since the first ep of season 1 I’ve shipped them ! You're right, it's super strange that they have like no interaction but when they do those parallels that, connection because of similar yet opposite lives is there in the air between them. Honestly i feel like the two of them meeting is what started the entire everything in R to begin with because it revolves around their families. Ugh this beautiful thing sent chills down my spine. So well done, I'm glad you saw what I saw need more videos of them, so many foreshadowing moments I'm not sure the writers realized they put between them..

That basically is my favorite part about the show: that all young characters are heirs to their parents legacy - power, sins, culture, role. And how they stuggle with it and trying to add their own meaning to it, accept or rebel against it. That's what gave them birth, nurtured them and then burdened them with overwhelming responsibilities.
Jughead and Veronica are not very close, they're like opposite angles of the square, sharing strong connection with both Betty and Archie, but not with each other. It hasn't occured to me yet that there could be such an interesting dynamics between them two. I love how you connected dots here. Great eye)

They are one of the most underrated couples, but they are so cute. I shipped them from season 1. They are endgame. I hope their friendship grows in season 3. All those connections show that they are meant to be together. I love Jeronica/ Vughead.

This is one of the best Jeronica/Vughead videos I've seen. They share so many similarities and yet they sweep their relationship under the rug, giving them minimal dialogue and scenes together. I really hope we get to see more interaction between them in Season 3. Wonderful video!

Okay don’t get mad bughead shippers but I think/hope that jughead and Veronica end up together and Betty and Archie end up together it just makes more sense Veronica and jughead seem more alike and Betty was in love with Archie first for like years since they were kids those feelings are not just gonna disappear so maybe the writers will use something with that and jughead is gonna be single so will Veronica they’re both be hurting over the loss of their boyfriend and girlfriend they will seek comfort for each other and maybe something will happen there but I’m not a writer for the Show so I don’t know but I hope that’s what happens
