Not stopped shooting mine since I got it last Friday. Excellent gun with great accuracy, very very quiet and looks superb. Getting 40 full power shots on 1 co2. 2cm groups at 25m. Must sleep soon...
Good morning all.
Another Artemis CP 2.... in a new jacket. Reliable, cheap and good stuff anyway
Morning all
This is a another iteration of the old CP1 pistol,an original wooden gripped one of which I’ve owned for years. Good little pistol.
So good that I have 2, one in .177 and the other .22. Excellent target pistols that make some of the fellow shooters, using €1500-2000 German top brands, left in the dust 🙂
For a pistol length barrel with 6ftlb, that is very impressive grouping. Not a pistol fan myself but it is a good looking unit. Love your reviews Andy - the weekend starts with your videos 😁
Def a nice bit of kit! The grip and red dot sight complete it. Great shooting at 20m! From Florida USA...
This breach, floating barrel and Co2 set up is brilliant for the money, regardless of the makers name on the side. Normally after a first shot like that it all goes downhill quick. So maybe using a x1 power, and not being to see how good it was, is the way to go. Good as always.
looks suspiciously similar to the Artemis CP2. Nice extras though
Thanks for the great start to Friday. Another awesome review Andy. :D
I've got both the PP800 and PP700 and have put stocks silencers and scopes on both, they are great, but I get the bit about popping a few CO2 cartridges in your pocket as opposed to carrying a diving bottle
Nice one, Andy, and great review. Some great target shooting, too.
Great review Andy, like the whole package.
Cracking gun. Brilliant grouping too. Nice one Andy cheers.
Man Snowpeak has been making a killing lately. And I saw this with a SPA made rifle in my lap lol.
I'm feeling ratcatcher vibes from this which isn't a bad thing. A fixed stock version with a longer barrel next?
Great presentation as always
There's nothing at all wrong with that grouping!! 👍👍
It does kind of remind me of a futuristic crosman 2240. 🤔 but excellent review as always Andy!!
Pete (watching from Nova Scotia!) 🇨🇦
Andy, what can I say! You have definitely proved your point? I’m buying one 👍🏻
Excellent review as always
I like that Andy , Very CP-2 ish, and if so , then very tuneable too.
I thought the same, Andy should see if the carbine barrel from the Cp fits this :-)
Thanks Andy nice pistol.
I have its sibling the pp800r hpa with 3d stock extension and underail added. A super little pistol/ carbine in .177 cal
One of local productor made %100 same pistol. With shoulder stock it is extremely easy to perform tight groups. it is so lightweight that the bipod is actually an unnecessary item for it.
Thanks Andy 😎👍🏻
It really looks like a slightly nicer CP2...
Great review!👍🏻🇺🇸
Nice, I was thinking about getting a CP2 for some backyard plinking when I move, but I'm not keen on the stock (So I was considering making it a ply stock) but now there's this,..... choices choices.....
Just bought one to get back into air shooting after many years
Nice Video Andy👍
For an additional £40 you turn a good bit of kit into an excellent kit, winner winner as they say👍🏻
Nothing wrong with that! I have the original Trophy and it needed a lot of internal fettling to get it up to 5.5 ft/lb in 4.5mm
Thank you Andy for sharing an array of documented up and coming new ideas 💡 of air rifles and pistols 🔫 love your wonderful shows ❤ is it true the first pcp air rifle was used by royalty and pumped by a servant while out on the hunt of game ? I would love to hear about the relationship of whom they were designed for in the first place. Have a great day take care 🕊
Great review Andy , whot a fab box set of a pistol come rifle .... this will appeal to lot`s of people ..... i like it ... Got to go , got pack for holiday today ... Hargarda here i come , and my fixed up wheelchair .... cheers Simon
Good review but think I prefer the CP2 as you get the longer barrel as well!
Is it just me or is any one else NOT getting recommended videos?, especially from channels they are subscribed to?. I had to go to this channel to find the latest uploads, and even then when I clicked on 'videos' there was nothing.
I think the stock looks a bit better than the one included in the Cp2/ Chaser kit !
_But the Buck Rail custom stocks are even better looking._
Please sir king, can’t the Brit’s have their gunpowder back?
Quite similar to my Victory CP2.
Cracking show as always
👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁🤞✌️
I like it. I like it alot
I can see the custom build bunch posting longer barrel's PCP upgrades etc with this 😁
with a good scope you should be able to drive tacs nice piece of gear
Very very nice
Pretty sure that with a bit of a clean and polish the 177 should, like the CP1/CP2 it is based on, come up to the goldilocks zone of 500fps for a target pistol.
I've just ordered myself the .22 vermin version. I noticed it has the holes in the c02 cap, but it doesn't come with the mini wrench for those holes. Shame really as I would have to use a screwdriver or something similar otherwise. I might do a review once I've got it
At €145, u can get the CP2 set with long barrel, or the CR600 W wood stock.
This would be perfect for the Diana bandit!
Oh my...think you've sold me on that before the Snow Peak..still need to get quality use from the Reign UXT.
I like it . this its looking like strange tactical smg.
If i can found in my country I will buy it
Nice 😉👍
Take a look at the Nero Rosa SE version-a Black Cherry cerakoted version.V Cool
💯💯💯
I'd love the 177 version.
Looks quite like a SMK CP2..?😮
That is so similar to my Victory CP2 minus the long barrel kit. nice video, and excellent shooting without a X2 or X3 sight..keep up the good work 🙂
I had to purchase some parts for my CP2 and while doing so, I learned the main components of the SMK/Artemis CP2, Diana Chaser and Trophy are identical and interchangeable with no change in power (parts suppliers actually state as such) 😅
@@GaisaSanktejo just saw that there is now an "official" PCP version of the chaser/CP2 namely "bandit black" so this is crying for the kitbash version of the long chaser barrel with the new bandit black pcp system on this stock and grip combo
@@TheScarvig Nice, try doing a search for the diana chaser safepac conversion too, can't go into too much detail since the wonderful filters will delete the post, but the proper site offers some interesting options
All of these are the same. There are probably 100s of versions of CP2 all called different names for some reason...
Nice little carbine, but only short pistol barrel at £189. Cp2 better value £10 cheaper and kit comes with that extra long barrel too ! Also very accurate.
What is The CP2?
@@Steven-jn2cw It's the SMK Victory cp2, which is a very similar co2 powered pistol/carbine rifle kit. A brilliant little gun too, check it out !
@@briandix216 thanks Brian. I've just had a look and it looks brilliant, more appealing than the Airforce One Trophy. How accurate is the Victory CP2 and would you recommend it? Thanks
@@Steven-jn2cw I don't actually own one just yet, but won't be long. The reviews are very good here on you tube. Take a look, a great gun, well worth buying and ideal for the back yard, quiet too.
I've owned a .22 cp2 in the past, was a good gun, definitely accurate, always had it with the long barrel on and scope etc for barn pigeons and rats. Power would drop off though after about 20 shots, not such an issue 10yds work but if your shooting at about 20, poi drops and you start missing. Hence really why I sold on to help fund a pcp for pesting. Pp700 and pp750 better imo with a cheap stirrup pump. Highly customisable in terms of power and accessories etc.
Nice little fun Andy prity dam good for the price and you didn't do to bad for being half blind mate
Looks a lot like the Artemis CP2 or Diana Chaser. Although those have a second, longer barrel. Perhaps the longer barrel could be an ft-lbs issue in the UK?
these guns are tuned via the transfer port anyways... the chaser pistol sold solo without the long barrel is tuned to reach close to the allowed 7.5J here in germany. if you were to attach the long barrel of the combi kit to it you would exceed the allowed limit. thats why the combi kit comes with a transfer port that is tuned for the long barrel to reach the allowed limit and thus is weaker in pistol mode.
For the money, that is a bargain and a fun one at that!
Morning all
I like the look and style of this gun it looks like you could shoot it all day and not tire of it .
I was pretty impressed with its accuracy I counted six shot through the same holes which for some body with let's say less than perfect eyesight and no magnification is more than pretty darn good Andy .
Good review thank you .
I
Like that one good little rifle
You should get a little monocular and you could spy out where you hit 🎯 from distances of 20m and beyond.
Similar style to my Mito. Almost identical stock. The Mito with stock is excellent for Bell Target shooting 😊 This one looks like fun.
Oh man, wish I can get it in eu...
Andy, could you try it at 30 and 40mts just to see how it goes with a scope on it please.
Just got mine in the post today. One thing I'll say is that I found attaching and detaching the stock a little bit more of an effort than he did. I really had to put some strength into it tbh.
Bit of advice needed now though. Other review sites mention a trigger adjustment, but for the life of me I can't suss out where it is. Any ideas? Thanks.
victory v2 dressed different. this would be nice with the long barrell
Pcp would be the glitter on this wee gem 💎 ✨️
Nice, but as mentioned, think the CP2 kit is still better value all round. ATB MMMD
Very interesting. Not the sort of item I'd normally check out, and surprising results - Andy, you do keep it interesting. But I keep having "Man From Uncle" flashbacks. Where's Illya Kuriyakin? (gotta like David McCallum)
Looks nicer than the cp2 equivalent 👍
Shame it doesn't come with the CP2 long barrel.
NICE ! This one makes me hoping for a German Version....
A bit Crossman .22 2240 like. I always worry about vermin control with low powered pistols compare to rifles in terms of humane dispatch. Great entry level kit for target work!
I shot my biggest rat (over 500gr) with a Diana CP2 .177 at 5 meters. Instant death with a nice headshot. I would never tried it from 20 meters. All depent i think. Have a nice day.
I would say this and the cp2 is better as the stock helps with getting a better grip and aids accuracy also used my cp2 for ratting easy quick dispatch up to 10m
@@Theshropshireratter cp2 is so accurate!
@@Bigliever agree always use mine in summer but use my hw35 in the cold
It looks lime an Artem8s CP2 with diffefent stock and no long barrel. Trophy one was a CP1 clone, so I wouldn't be surprused if it really is.
Hi Andy have you Done A review on the Benjamin Trail NP Mark II Pistol? Just wondered what you think of the Pistol as thinking of buying one? Cheers
with replaceable .177/.22 barrels - I'd buy it
Thanks Andy. I think its a great starter kit. I do wonder how accurate the .22 would be..?
As accuracy is needed in any vermin clearance campaign?
I dont shoot anything living myself.
Except my partner, and that is only very occasionally.
😊
Get yourself one of those nerf guns that shoots yellow foam balls, theyre perfect for mounting an optic to deal with relationship disputes 🤣
that is a sexy gun.. You should better with those sites than a scope
Looks like a CP2 upgrade from SMK ..but without the excellent trigger with inbuilt push through safety? Good price though.
Hey Andy, would you ever consider reviewing the Umarex Air Javelin? I own one, and it's a blast
I wish you would've shot the 22 version for accuracy.
A redesign of CP2 pistol version, a bit expansive for the extra plastic
Looks to me like a Cp2 with a new outfit...
So can you throw the carbine barrel on one of these?
Or put a Cp2 in that stock?
I would buy the .22 version if it was a PCP, but your demo showed how good it is.
I was excited for a bolt action multi shot pcp rat buster, but then I see CO2 :(
@@watchdogsoffarron3354 what's wrong with co2?
the "chaser" or "CP2" got a pcp version this month as it seems and the system should be a drop in replacement here. this thing is essentially a diana chaser / artemis cp2 with a different grip and stock. the front sight seems to still be the old style they had on the early cp2 versions. the missing safety is a big nogo. and if you take the system of a chaser or bandit black you get the in trigger safety and it would probably only need a little filing to get the safety to fully work on this grip
@@TheScarvig do you mean there is now a PCP version of the CP2?
@@Steven-jn2cw CO2 is effected by the weather to much and not as consistent as HPA. + Air is free 😁
If you wanna pcp version it's virtually the same as the reximex mito 👍🏻
Its nothing like the mito other than the rwar stock. The mito is in a different league.
Good morning Andy. Nice chatting to you on Sunday . Only came over to pet the pooch. Didn't recognise you at first, only clicked when Mrs aar came over and I recognised her.
You Look different in the flesh It must be the handsome filter you use on the camera 😂
it’s amazing how lighting helps . nice to meet you guys.
It would be nice if they made a PCP version.
In your opinion, what is the best sub £200 .177 pellet firing pistol?
Do I go for this or the Webley Nemesis X Combo??
Spend a bit more and buy a P15 full power little gun... They have improved them but too small for me 😮
I’m guessing the power drops with each shot?
its sOo big !! ☝️😳
i just 💕 Andy's _Airgun_
I was thinking it was a shortened Texan in. 45. Oh well.. 🇦🇺
could we have some info on that sight maybe a link thank you in advance
A Diana Chaser with a new stock is still a Diana Chaser.
its a spa product ,not a bad product .the chinese are not very behind the west guns, i got like them ,lots of names from different importers
Guys can anyone recommend a kit like this but with more power? A bundle like this that comes with suppressor and all the goodies but has more umph for pests, rats and pigeons? I live in the US.
Hi can U tell me if the victory smk cp2 co2 becomes a rifle with the pistol barrel I don't like the long barrel but want to do mods for more FPS I don't have a FAC 👍
Oh god not airforce one guns 😳 the 1 and ONLY video I've ever skipped mr aar so sorry I feel awful now 😢
Same relevant hardware as the Webley VMX CO2 pistol. Just another product in name-branding.
But not a bad product at all, actually.
So the big question is, will this take the longer rifle barrel of my CP2? If so, take me money!!!
