hey this is pretty cool! i think its nice to have both options so you can pick/choose which is best. personally i prefer the version in your last video
i trying do same with morph target but its not working( when i importing obj file its just replace mesh and reset morph target (delete) and i heve no transition. what i doing wrong(
So your basically saying you have to look at things from more of a compostional point of view and control where the eyes of the viewer are directed too. Basically how one shape leads into the next and how your guiding the viewer through the model. Maybe the term you are looking for is the gesture of the shapes. So do you think its important to imply form with the direction of your brush strokes. I think a lot of my stiffness comes from not knowing which way have my strokes flow. I think gio nakpil has talked about this too.
I think it happened for two reasons: 1- Pixologic's business model was flawed. Never charging for upgrades probably was hindering them financially. 2- Ofer Alon was perhaps looking forward to retirement and interested in selling to a new caretaker. This is all speculation.
While I mostly use Blender, this is absolutely game changing to me and I'll try this next time I sculpt!
Man, that morph target thing is so cool.
Excellent video!! 👏👏
Thanks for sharing this awesome technique!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Love the MorphTarget magic
Nice tips . We, Blender users, can adapt that using shapekeys :)
Haha good to know!
thanks outgang, I'm definitely gonna try it

I don't know that I should laugh at that but it's pretty funny.

Getting a nice gesture flowing through the model is key for sure, thanks for pointing that out.
Gio Nakpil is an amazing artist btw. Very inspiring.
What are your thoughts on the Maxon merger?
I think it happened for two reasons: 1- Pixologic's business model was flawed. Never charging for upgrades probably was hindering them financially. 2- Ofer Alon was perhaps looking forward to retirement and interested in selling to a new caretaker. This is all speculation.
I sculpt a lot of my models asymmetrical because my symmetry tools wouldn't work properly lol.
😄
Laura, could you start sculpting on Blender ?
Yes.
check your email pls~
