- I now own a Seat Leon FR ST 1.5 TSI EVO, today I got over why I purchased an estate car and what were the other options I didn't go for.
Later I will do a video on the ownership experience with this car, once I driven it for a bit longer.

I’m quite lucky I can keep the Golf R, with the budget I had in mind. Honestly the best option I could find with low insurance group, good fuel economy, decent mileage for the year, well spec’d and had to look good.
I mean I wasn’t asking for much 🤣

Great choice! I agree the Golf Estate only looks better than the Leon ST in GTD or full on R spec. I bought a 2017 Leon ST FR 1.4 EcoTSI last month for similar reasons to you. I think its the best looking out of the options at this pricepoint. Also love the amount of space it has.

Yeah going for the Seat Leon was a no brainier, price point and styling made so much more sense than the other options.
I was deciding between the 1.4 and 1.5 for a bit too, but ended up going for the 1.5. As the one I got had all the options I wanted, Virtual Cockpit, Carplay, Leather seats. 😊
So far very pleased with it! And seeing MPG I can never imagine my Golf doing 🤣
@@WhatThePun yes I was deciding between 1.4 or 1.5 but as the 1.5 was on newer models, the price point was a bit higher for me. I love seeing how high I can get my MPG lol

I needed it for the space and fuel economy, ticked all the boxes for me at a good price.
Would have looked at the Cupra or RS4 Avant if I wanted fast 🤣🤣🤣
how much was it?
Mine was closer to £15k, spec and mileage.
But you can get these from 10k, depending on age, spec and engine.
The slightly older 1.4tsi models cost less, but the mpg and performance is about the same.
Seat Ateca is too fine.
