    Keeping cows is African tradition. You will also find them in huge numbers in zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, ethiopia, to name a few. If you want to marry a girl, you pay 3 female cows or more to the family. Of course these days they convert that value into money.

    In SA we no longer use those toilets where you have to use a lever to flush. They are old fashioned and only in facilities you will find them. Most houses in cities use the ine with a press button. The buttons are usually two, one to flush urine and another to flush faeces.

    Most countries that drive on the left side of the road have the driver on the right. This includes the UK and Ireland. It is because I is easier to see the oncoming traffic. Also, you went visiting the rural. You can not compare one part of rural SA to the developed parts. Unfortunately its becoming a typical African country.

    Short dressess are not part of our culture mam. The length of the dress is determined by the strictness of the school and or the circumstances of students. In areas where people don't have a lot of money you may find they can't afford a new dress every year as the girl grows. In other circumstances the students try be fashionable and make their dressess short and end up being sent home by the school for promoting nonsense. Other schools the teachers will undo the seams with scissors to make the dress long as punishment.

    • @jabikaty2613
      @jabikaty2613  Před 25 dny

      If you do say so, but I have seen some wearing short skirts even on TikTok videos, and they don't look poor.
      Regardless I wonder why the school authorities allow that length in school. Because there are other societies who also do not have enough money but their skirts are not this short.
      That is why I kind of thought it's something they are okay with and it is acceptable.

    • @jessejacobs
      @jessejacobs Před 25 dny

      @@jabikaty2613 The schools don't allow it. It's against their rules. Even though each school sets their own rules they are usually very similar and strict. In fact the ever meddling South African Human Rights Commission are saying it's "too strict" and is infringing on student rights which in my opinion is just nonsense.
      As for the young girls that genuinely can't afford a new dress, you can't judge them until you actually understand that it's all they can afford especially in the current South African economy.
