- Well after treating myself to a new Sander less than 3 days ago...it gave out after just 5 hours use...not very impressed...
so took it back to homebase...they swapped for another...so let's see how long this one lasts...
remember....'assembled in Germany'....means its made with Chinese parts....

No it did not... Well... kinda... it lasted a few months .. roughly 2½ months...
The switch on top is its weak point... dust gets in it and kills it

I too had a problem with the same sander from same source... base plate became useless after less than a month. Alas I had lost receipt so no return from the store and also Bosch did not even respond to my attempts of making contact.
I ended up getting three of these and kept returning them when they went ...
I'll just stick to the pro range in future
I bought one of these.
Not overly impressed, bought for 7 door frames, ended up doing by hand.
It was better for skirting and door to key gloss
Yeah, best stick to the gs professional ones really
