Titanium Raceseng wheel studs and TE37-SL install on the E92 M3

- I finally got the TE37's mounted with these very expensive but gorgeous titanium Raceseng wheel studs. These won't be the permanent wheels for the car but I wanted to see how they look and fit - besides, this kind of stuff is really fun. I know some of you die-hard euro guys don't want JDM style on this car but I think it looks good. Let me know what you guys think.

Stay tuned for more crazy!
Those are nice looking TE 37s; the color of the wheel and lug nuts goes well with the car's color.
IMHO, the yellow brake caliper and yellow sticker on one of the spokes is too much yellow and is visually distracting. With bright metal wheels and a bright metal brake disk a black or grey brake caliper color would look good, along with the yellow sticker. If you plan to keep the yellow brake calipers, I would remove the yellow sticker on the spoke.
I have an all-black Nissan 370Z sport coupe that has been paint corrected and coated. I'm in the process of installing a set of all-gloss black forged magnesium monoblock wheels from Litespeed Racing in LA. My calipers are large Akebono sport calipers(Brembo copies) that are painted in gloss red. With the very thin spokes that are all-black, the calipers really pop out for a great visual effect. I installed some all-black aluminum lug nuts for the all-black look. I considered painting some oversize spacer washers that I hade made for the lug nuts a bright red to leave a thin trace of red around the lugs. While that looked very good on the wheel, in isolation, on the car there was just too much red and it detracted from the look. Sometimes, less is more.
those wheels are perfect for some jp car, but hey thats ur car u can do whatever u want with it
To help with the OG Crazy,...mount one wheel design on one side and a different design on the other side. No one will ever notice. Welcome to the Interlagos Blue M3 Club.
Hopefully your Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is not on that burning ship off the Azores.
Barely recognise this as an OG video. Advert interruptions every 60 secs plus a montage segment with EDM. Never thought I’d see the day!
That offset brings a tear to my car guy eyes. It’s perfect………
Wow! You do an exceptional job with fitment. Also... TE THE WORLD! Lol! Love it, man!

Honda bros approved
Why don't you debadge the rims? Fluorescent yellow on yellow callipers - not pretty!
Cool wheel no doubt but I couldn’t run it without a center cap it would drive me nuts
I believe Ray's makes an adapter for the center caps.
Not all SL fitments
I small spacer should make the center caps fit, 5mm
Please film a how to on recoating the wheels. I’ve looked all over the net for what happens when it’s time and haven’t found a process or walk through on what to do.
The TEs look awesome.
I changed most of the screws on my motorcycle for titan PRO-BOLT Race Spec !
add racing look ! weight loss !
After all these years I still love those M performance rims

Classic Obsessed Garage video. So much joy, even from doing something so small.

Center cap missing and all they look very good. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never understood these stud conversions. Guess it makes swapping the wheels on and off a bit easier, but seems like they add an additional point of possible failure… This kit does look slick though 👍🏻
Yep for track driving it's easier so you don't have to try and rest the wheel on the hub.
@@KiranPatel-fk1pg A wheel hanger stud solves that problem.
It's mainly to prevent the barrel from hitting the discs on removal. Makes mounting much easier too.
@@HarryBradbury I’ve always just used those wheel hangers to avoid this when swapping wheels.
When you have a bbk, last thing you want is to chip the paint when putting the wheel on
Center cap and center cap adapters?
Those wheels are sick AF!! Wow!!
Still can't get the website to load for the giveaway
There likely is something wrong with your computer. It loads in a fraction of a second for me.
i always love te37, i have them on my Jimny and Land cruiser 😀
GT VIBE right at the beginning of the video! Love it 🥶😎
Not a fan, they lessen the caliber of the car and look too aftermarket. Like these wheels on Evos, Nissans or some other select JDM but this doesn’t do it for me. But I know it does something for you ;)
100%
I don't feel them either
I think with a more OEM-looking open ended nut, it would look a lot better. The wheel nuts aren't great.
Yeah man some Nices wheels I agree with you with the tires with the square side wall but the steering response and handle the weight on the back axle better 😍
TE’s are 🔥Matty
I love how much you appreciate fine things !

Just entered for old m3!
15:59 🤣🤣😫
The side by side shot to show how different the paint colors are was great. It would take me weeks to decide which to own if I had the choice.
I play the same game with Corollas.
Why do these have more lip than regular te37sl? I am looking at getting these for my 370z
TE the world. Would love TEs for my Z. TEs would be my 2nd set of wheels if I had an m3. 1st set would be the famous HRE FF01 or BC Forged RZ05 - Monoblock
Haha ol Matty tightening the studs in a star pattern even though they’re not holding on anything. 😂😂
haha
Hi Matt
Loving the wheel studs and wheels
Matt the green decals really clash with the beautiful yellow callipers think they would look better without
Tim from good old England
Ps still not received the obsessed garage decals
In white
😁😁😁
That e92 intro is so fking sick. Jeezus
Yeah really, the car FINALLY got some track time! 😜
Not sure if it’s the sticker or the wheel studs but the entire setup looks a little boy racer, to me, at least.
Maybe with black or silver calipers. Couldn't you find a way to make the wheel center fit? It gives it a more OEM+ look
Something so cool about TEs on a BMW. Praying my 9 entries wins the car
Awesome man! What brand impact driver and torque wrench is that?
I love that thing. www.obsessedgarage.com/collections/milwaukee-automotive-1/products/milwaukee-m18-fuel-compact-impact-wrench-w-friction-ring?variant=40683385258135
@Chris Toda thanks Chris!
looks pretty dang good.

Great new video style and quality.
Lemans Blue. ALL THE WAY!
What's the size of spacers?
12mm front and 10mm rear
now is there a anti-theft to buy for these studs ?
The lugs are a special tapered size that requires the Raceseng socket to remove.
Looking fricken sweet!
OMG. Perfection!
What width are the te37's?
Damn, it looks awesome!

Matt, I think the lime green decals on the wheels look great in contrast with the interlagos blue. I worry that yellow brakes and yellow decals will make it look like a bob the builder toy 🤣.
I’d do lugs instead of titanium wheel stud, don’t wanna go into details but it’s a recipe for disaster.
@@charlesle exactly Charles, uve been around I can tell…. The same reason its not used to make titanium roll cages in racing. It’s like playing Russian roulette and a lawsuit waiting to happen jmho.
@@charlesle Titanium? Real titanium would not snap during a hard launch any more readily than a cold rolled or hot rolled, forged ferrous metal. The strength to density ratio is as high as any steel. Keep in mind that there are multiple variants of the isotopes. I put myself to sleep just typing this statement.
Several posts on BimmerPost about this. Wheel studs are one of the things where titanium will not benefit you. Better to eat a light lunch before the track day if you're chasing weight savings that hard.
@@SlightlyM3ntal 😂 so true and remember 10 lbs = 1hp 👍🏼
I’m still waiting for my titanium studs to snap from launching a car with 700 wtq on a daily basis..
What kind of anti seize do you recommend for titanium lug bolts?
Never put anti seize on lug bolts. It's fine for lug nuts but not for bolts.
@@ObsessedGarage okay thank you! I have titanium lug bolts with factory hub
Great vid simply showing what a great hobby cars are to restore and more so drive… What is the ur mm drop with the coil overs on the front…I am currently running 20mm drop from factory with Eibach pro kit. Thanks…keep up the good work 🙏🏼🙌🏼
I'm about 40mm front and 35mm rear.
What's the spec on the wheels, those are definitely 19 inch, but width and offset?
5x120 19x9.5 ET 21 and 19x10.5 ET 22
275/30ZR19 | 295/30ZR19 Advan AD08R
Holy flush!!!
New music is great FYI
Titanium lug nuts are perfect 👌😁 Titanium lug nuts are 29% stronger and nearly 50% lighter than steel which results in a decreased rotational wheel mass. I know where can you get it at a great price 😁😁
With the bolts so close to the axis of rotation, the reduction in the moment of inertia is nearly negligible. The reduction in mass at the end of the swinging lower control arm might make a noticeable difference in the suspension's dynamics.
First! Love everything you guys do. Keep ‘em coming.
Looks gang Matty! 👊🏻
If the rears were lowered 1/2 inch more and the fronts lowered another 3/4 of an inch omg 🤤
editor should have insert a sad music when that center cap fall Ha,ha...
Took the joy right out of it didnt it
Wow Matt I’m so surprised they gave you traditional anti-seize of course titanium is a lot different from your typical OEM wheel stud so maybe torque values are consistent or maybe they factored in torque value with lubricant I’m surprised I didn’t go with like an aircraft grade dry graphite type lubricant?
Thr 359's looks so much better on the E92 theTE's are for JDM cars and look great on them.
Go 18" TE's. You will not regret.
The length of those new studs 😨
Factory wheels are my preference, not into the wheel stickers or the studs, but that’s me
Not OG spec for sure.
#TEeverything
Mine are Hyper Blue 15x7 5x114.3 from early 2000s. 10 lbs each.
No front center cap= no rear center cap. Looks great.
Get the BBS e88 instead.
Sooooo good, dam that's awesome :)
*_it loots really awesome !!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 How much it coasts? thanx_*
Aren't you a bit too old for te37s?
I don’t know how I feel about threadlock being the only thing holding my studs on 🤣🤣🤣
It looked much better with the original wheels. Those day glow stickers are boy racer tacky.
Yeah not feeling it at all. Competitions any day.
Sorry Matt. You can keep those wheels and studs😝
Not a fan either
JDM wheels on a Euro car would not be my choice.
But VTEC, yo!
Antiseize should never be place on wheels bolts/lugs. This is one part that is stated not to be used on for safety reasons. I mean I know why you did the titanium it’s looks really good and the idea is great but this is someplace the steel is preferred.
Definetly agree with the fact that steel is preferred for studs lug nuts and lug bolts.... as for the antiseize iam 100% sure its actualy not an antiseize like the regular stuff but something like the paste that is used on carbon friction joints like seat posts on bike frames and similar... its not a lubricant its the oposite it prevents any slip and also prevents the bits from seizing together... since its titanium on titanium its well possible such solution is required
@@17tomashavlin you both do not know what you are talking about
Awwwww....that is a shame about the front center caps. Especially after the rears fit so well. I obsess over symmetry and details. I'd be extremely upset... = [ Nice looking set of wheels though.
I want to get conversion kit from raceseng but they are so damn expensive, I can't justify spending so much money on them

God do I love these OG OG style install videos
Those wheels are so clean, definitely wouldn’t mind owning a set
I really like when I see something that typically isn't seen or done by the masses. I love the way these look.
Yes titanium studs and lug nuts can definitely be called SPICY! 😆 Love the video and yes the floating center caps are a must have 👌🏽💯

275/30R-19 Front...what size are the Rear? A 30 profile will be a smooth ride. HaHa Nooooo!!
Matt what about a E39 M5 how do you feel about them and you'll you ever consider building one
I’m happy if you’re happy but I gotta be honest, those wheels look like they belong on a mid 90’s Honda. To each their own, though. The only person you gotta please is you.
Those look great, cant wait to see it with the yellow decals
To the folks who don't understand why anyone would pay that amount of money for a museum mileage M3 when Matt already has a clean one... it's called obsessed garage for a reason. I'm okay with hand me downs, she will be mine. Oh yes, she will be mine.
The true meaning of been obsessed of perfection! Nicely done!

Definitely a winning combo, setup is wild
We do we live in a society where it is cool to buy a $3,000 bag, but not titanium studs.
I love OG stuff but this isn't it. Titanium is not safe on studs/lugs. Plus for a couple hundred less you could have done a core4 press in stud conversion WITH new hubs using race proven studs/lugs. Its more work than just studs I know, but that would have been a true OG mod.
Looks really clean Matt!
Sweeet looking car man! Big fan of your work
Damn the wheels look great. 275 look a bit wide for the front. love the meaty look but maybe 265/30 would fit a tad nicer
I would go with 265/35r19 on 9.5 and 285/35r19 on 10.5
TE the world! Tommyfyeah approved. Lol
Raceseng is on a whole other level when it comes to product and packaging. Will be using their lug nuts for my rsx
Was just checking out their shift knobs earlier this afternoon for my Miata. Looks like top notch stuff!
Yeah, Nah!
