    I already knew what the results would show but it's still good to see it in a concise video.
    I'd be interested in seeing how much difference a new barrel/hop would make to these results especially comparing the .2 with upgrades to the stock gun results to see how much performance you gain from just spending a few quid more on bbs.

    Very informative, like seeing little experiments like this. I'd be interested to see how it does maintain over longer distance. Anecdotally I find my gnu holds accuracy better with .25s than .2s, tempted to try it on .28s or .3s but I already own 10 bottles of the .25s haha

    As a rule of thumb, go as heavy as your hop can properly lift. On all my GBBRs I use ,36g when playing outdoors. ,32g seems to be a good allrounder for outdoor use. ,28g for mostly indoor, especially for aegs with other than a type 0 cylinder. For AEGs it is important to have enough air volume in the cylinder. When using those heavy weights make sure you use a chrono to measure the kinetic energy, that Tom would have been very interesting to know. Maybe you can provide that for further investigations. Stay safe everyone!

    • @AnvilAirsoftTV
      @AnvilAirsoftTV  Před 3 lety +2

      Totally agree. Chrono readings are all on the earlier long range test. It’s a bit pointless for this one as the range is 10m and I’m not changing the hop setting between weights. I’ll link the earlier Video in the description and add a card in the video. Thanks

    • @AnvilAirsoftTV
      @AnvilAirsoftTV  Před 3 lety +1

      Just been back over the previous video and the hop was struggling at anything over 0.25g and it was doing 227 fps with a 0.28g on full to lift them. I’ll do some hop work and retest.

    A great video, thanks for taking the time to make it. I run the heaviest BB I can in my GBBR and get great accuracy, precision and range. The only place I can't do that is a local CQB place that has a 0.25g limit as "heavier BBs have more energy / hurt more"...maybe physics is different at that site ;)

    • @AnvilAirsoftTV
      @AnvilAirsoftTV  Před 3 lety

    I must admit Tom, it was your last bb weight comparison test vid that got me trying to see just how far I could push a certain weight for that cost/accuracy balance, as such I have now found that .2s just dont get the range and have stepped up to .28s myself in 90% of my full auto rifs.
