BC's Best Rides: Hwy 1 Fraser Canyon Lytton to Hope

I ride my BMW R1200RS on one of my favorite scenic motorcycle touring roads, through the Fraser Canyon. This once-impassable historic route has been used by settlers since Simon Fraser found his way down (and up!) the river in 1808. Later it was the second gold rush wagon road, and the route of the first Canadian railway linking BC's coast. Since the Coquihalla highway was opened in 1986, the Fraser Canyon route has been the slower option, so it attracts less traffic. It's perfect for motorcycle touring.
