@james Yes, they are rapers and criticize the hippies that they were the young people of the past. Now, you see elderly people enjoying rock and roll and the image we had from the 70's that elderly opposed to the hippie movement and sent some of this elderly to fight to Vietnam. I have that fair that they say TURN OFF THAT MUSIC BECAUSE IT IS NOISY. Now on the contrary, they sat to turn it louder and they enjoy bands as Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and also Judas Priest.

Stanton Nicko Mcbrain used to play drums for Pat Travers back in the 70s and if you get on here and type in Pat Travers live or just Pat Travers with Nicko Mcbrain it should come up ! Nicko has done some session work as well in the studio many years ago he said so yeah he's an accomplished drummer one of the very few who for years would only use 1 kick drum instead of the double kick that most had used through the late 70s into the late 80s ! Seen him with Maiden several times going back to the early 80s and always liked his style of playing !

It took a while but it drove me senseless
Now they say I'm non compos mentis
Little wonder I'm still here at all
Staring out from the guilt free on the wall
It's what happens when you mess with matches
    Everything's reduced to ashes
    Now I'm lost and brokenhearted
    My dreams had barely started
You're never gonna drive those demons
    Out of my mind
    I know you've gone, but you're never
    Out of my mind
Still see those pictures of hell, sends me
    Out of my mind
    My memory's photographic
Some of those images stopped the traffic
It wasn't me, it wasn't you
    Feel that it's nothing new
I'm not guilty, but I'm conscious
A bad net weight on my conscience
Another thing I have to mention
    Sadly there's no redemption
You're never gonna drive those demons
    Out of my mind
    I know you've gone, but you're never
    Out of my mind
Still see those pictures of hell, sends me
    Out of my mind

John - I've told so many people how 'I cut my teeth" listening to you as a keyboard player - you were my inspiration when music teachers wouldn't get it. C3. Leslie. I still have neither! I just recorded a demo last night with an organ solo which was labelled in Logic as 'For John' - because I'd just heard, but it wasn't good enough :) I'll have another crack tomorrow and hope you taught me something, not far short of everything RIP old friend.
