Hitachi lift 19 at Changi Airport Terminal 1

Wow! It's a very new Hitachi elevator! Very nice! Possibly installed in 2018 as the indicator looks like the same as the one at Golden Landmark.

This could have been replaced in 2022, as this lift has specs that are strikingly similar to the new lift in the departure hall that replaced the former 1995 hydraulic lift. That new lift has the same buttons and the same overhead LCD screen above the doors.
Whatever I just said is my assumption. No one knows the history of this lift.

Checked T1’s Finger Pier offices…
This is the only replaced Hitachi lift, the rest are all similar to T3 Hitachis. I wonder why.
Finger Pier? May I know how to get there? Also, lifts 20 and the one at Transit Area (Lift 22) are also replaced as well.
Finger Pier offices are accessed with these lifts.
Basically, those are the offices at level 3 above the boarding gates, and are accessed separately from the offices at the central part.
Where is Lift 8, 9 and 26?
Staff canteen.
Where exactly is this?
Here's how I got there:
From Terminal 1 Departure hall, take either lift 8, 9 or 26 down to the B1 Canteen, then walk to the other end of the canteen. You should see lift 12, keep walking then take lift 13 up to the third floor. Along the office corridor, you should see lift 19 followed up by lift 17 and lift 21. That's where I found the lifts.
Install year is not confirmed lol
And no it wasn't replaced in 2018 either

@@caja1491 Just cos the indicator looks like the one at Golden Landmark doesn't mean it was replaced during the time when the lifts at Golden Landmark got modernised. A lot of places also have that indicator.
