      Flower suggestion: MOON FLOWER

Can buy the seeds easily and plant soon. You can train them where to grow.

Been thinking about & praying for Katie. I had postpartum depression & wasn’t really aware that I did. My mom came & stayed with me & was a huge help but when she left to go back home because she was going back to work I cried. I was surrounded by family but it wasn’t anything I was aware of or even knew I had. Please check on her as her situation is much different than Corie’s will be. A lot has happened - losing Miss Cindy, Granny’s cancer, being a single mom. It’s a lot and she may be suppressing some of it. Like I said I was surrounded by family & didn’t even know I had it.

One largely forgotten term for a patch of cold during the springtime is Linsey-Woolsey Britches Winter. “Linsey-Woolsey britches” is an old nickname for long johns, usually spun from a combination of linen and wool. This end-of-spring cold snap marked the day when the Linsey-Woolsey britches could be packed away for the season.

I think it’s odd how in North Carolina and down south, and some places when they ask where you’re from a lot of people say what county they lived in I was born and raised in Buncombe county but here in Michigan nobody says what county they from it’s always what city they’re from It’s a big difference. You’re so lucky to have your family and daughters and grandchildren all around you. You’re very lucky.❤

I’m definitely not trying to tell anyone how to decorate their house, but (the dreaded but…) those countertops would look fabulous perched atop moody, smoky blue cabinets. Not everyone likes to paint stained cabinets. I’m not even suggesting it be done. When I saw the stain on the countertops, the smoky blue just popped right into my mind. 😊

Living in upstate S.C. I was told that a cove has water around the area, and the hollow is between 2 hills. I say over there and down yonder and up here or up there. I'm so happy to see that you have both of your girls so close to you 💗. Keep me in your prayers, and I will keep you in mind. ❤❤❤

I know Corrie likes the wood look..and the countertops are absolutely gorgeous..all bonus that Daddy Matt is doing it all with so much love and kindness to his child..but I do think painting those cabinets..maybe only the top would really make the countertops be the showstopper in the kitchen..they kinda get lost in all the wood..just my thoughts…love you guys! Btw…I’m Haywood county too..Maggie valley girl here❤..And hats off to Daddy/Gramps Matt..❤🙏🏻

The historic Ramsey house Tipper is named after Frances Alexander Ramsey, the son of Ulster Scots immigrants from north Antrim, here in Ulster, they were cousins of the Getty's who established Gettysburg. Just another place on my bucket list to visit one day when I scrape enough together to visit.

I’m one of the “newer” ones to the channel & I didn’t know that about Matt!! That’s so cool. My parents have a place at Jonathan Creek. My sister moved real close to there & is teaching at Canton Elementary. We’ve spent so many summers in that area. & have visited the Brasstown area often.
