That's nonsense. Han seems happy and that's it. Neither Sung Kang have to give a deeper meaning to his character behaviour nor writer or director could give him instructions about sorrow or pain that didn't exist at this point.
@@rszec The Han from Tokio Drift is a completely different character that the one in the later movies. Sung Kang did look empty and pretty sad in this movie. Maybe it is just a concidence. From the moment you see him in Fast 4 you can tell hes a completely different person.
So many good deleted scenes on this movie..really, we actually need an "extended version" of this movie!

Well after fast 5 it was implied that Han and Gisele went to Tokyo after the heist and in 6 they were in Japan so I think after her death he just decided to stick around in Tokyo again

I wonder if this was one of many scenes where Neela indirectly helps Sean mature from a troublemaker into a man of integrity, honor, and respect. Sean matured drastically by the time he went to see Kamata to asking if he could settle things with Takashi once and for all.

They should have kept this scene in plus the girl is serving ViVi magazine fashion from fall/winter ‘06. Side note was Devon Aoki busy because she would have fit perfectly as the main live interest plus she’s mixed with Japanese and would have ate up every look. Long story short they need to recut this film and add all the deleted scenes imo.
