@@mustyHead6 honestly I learned it pretty fast when I was a beginner 5 years ago. But I picked up guitar really fast and easily. Its complete different difficulty compared to chords. Beautiful song though

Guys I have a Tip... If you are having Difficulty playing the Pinky slide.. Just use your thumb for the 6 th String and any other finger for the slide 👍😉

Another thing you guys can do is place your middle finger on the 6th string, then use your ring finger to slide if that makes it easier than using your thumb. Personally I can do the pinky slide, but the middle finger and ring finger slide feels just as comfortable unlike the thumb tip, just feels odd for me haha.

So I would say sometimes playeing other songs actually helps you play a certain song more than just practising that song only, if that makes any sense haha :)

Picked my first guitar in January of this year, was a complete beginner and never expected that i would play this beautiful piece, This was my first fingerstyle guitar piece that i can play fully and it took me 1 month to learn it all thanks to you and i hope wherever you are i hope you are safe
Quick tips:
1) break everything into parts and try to learn them slowly and consistency is the key
2)sliding was the hardest part to learn so it took me many tries and many different ways to make myself quicker and more comfortable and i was practicing the sliding part like 2 hours everyday

@@connor5184 well what helped me is to learn the song that I like the most, no matter how difficult it is. Not to just learn a song that is easy because I am a beginner. And not just practice to get better, to become this great gitarist. Then it would become work and I would be playing with the mind. The trick is to actually play. Not to get somewhere, but because you love it, in the moment. When I gave up this goal of becoming this great gitarist and when I gave up my ideas of how to achieve that, when there was no purpose in it left, I started to just enjoy it, to really play.
So enjoy, play. Learn the song that excites you the most. And when you feel like you don't enjoy it anymore after some playing, put it down. And trust yourself to pick it up again.

It’s most likely that the guitar isn’t tuned or maybe if it’s not a real wood guitar and if it’s one of those clear strings guitars you should buy a new one, you could find great ones at a budget of $200

@@lukeedward9748 well, I'm not playing it perfectly but you can choose what speed of playing you prefer. I removed the capo and I slow it down so the sound matches.
@MrSushiMaker29 that's good! I'm playing guitar solos before and I have no clue about chords. If you are a beginner, you should consider strumming and plucking first. Fingerstyle is tough and guitar solos!

I’m a total beginner when it comes to guitar and I was able to learn the first minute of the song decently well in just a few days! Don’t give up if you practice a couple hours a day it gets a lot easier.
