Cover of "Waffle" by Sevendust off of their album, Home. Tuning is A# F# B E G# C#. For best sound, please listen with headphones. Enjoy, like, and subscribe for more vids!! Facebook: / mysticguitar77
Good ol' Waffle. Have to say, those volume swells are a little tough to hit exactly like the recording. Took way too many takes to get that and I was still a little off on one lol. Probably be way easier with a volume pedal but that's not how John plays it. Other than that it's one of the most simple Sevendust songs to play and one of the funnest.
MysticGuitar77 I noticed but I didn't know what it was called. No worries. I shared your videos on a sevendust fanpage on Facebook. You already have a solid following. Lol
HEY!!!! WHY THE FUCK DID SEVENDUST NAME THIS SONG "WAFFLE"? IF I KEEP RATTLING MY BRAINS OVER ITS MEANING, IT MIGHT SHATTER TO PIECES! 😠😠😠 btw, nice cover 😎😅❤
Sevendust has always came up with weird, working titles for songs. A lot of bands actually do. Most cases they give it a more appropriate title later but every now and then a working title will stick. Waffle is one of those as is Rumble Fish and Licking Cream, the next two songs on the album. :D
I’m gonna sound really dumb because I don’t know much about guitars but what are you doing at 1:35 that makes it sound so odd, your not even strumming anything, just the neck. Very good cover by the way! I want to know more about electric guitars / bass as a lot of my friends are good at them.
They're called volume swells. I'm hammering-on the note on the neck hard enough so it rings out and then using the volume knob to raise the volume up and down for each note.

MysticGuitar77 at least you're honest about it! Lol! The rest was on point, I couldn't do any of it! Good job.
haha yeah. It's one of those things where if I didn't point it out nobody would have noticed anyway. :p

Appreciate it!!
Perhaps you should wait until you're all alone, stare at nothing & pray for silence...
GREAT JOB!
You really worked hard on this one.
Be proud!
...and rock on!
Gotta love Sevendust....
Golden oldies!
Great job
volume swells~
Is that a phaser at the opening riff and verse?
Yes
So is it in Drop Bb or is it just a really weird tuning
It's Drop B with just the low string tuned down another half step to A#.
Great vids my dude. What model is that beauty PRS?
