That Audi is something. The Audi 3.0t engines are great, pretty reliable for the most part as long as they've been maintained. Some oil consumption issues but other than that, relatively flawless.

The variable valve timing engine in the Scion is in my opinion, the best engine ever made. I have one in my Pontiac Vibe. Paid $500 for it and 70,000 miles later I haven't done anything to it other than oil changes and brakes. These are 300,000 mile cars as long as you swap out the tranny fluid every 200,000 miles. Will go to 400,000 but you'll probably have to start replacing stuff.

I'd say buy the A7, if you cleaned it up & put tires & got some pdr done you should still profit when you send back to auction. In meantime you get to drive it & make content. You should make yourself a collapsible hood prop to carry with you. Couple pieces of dowel/broomhandle/pipe & couplings to connect them, works pretty well.

Get the Audi. I had that same hesitation when I was pricing out my Equus at a dealership and I was glad I went ahead and got it. Like most cars, it has appreciated in value since I purchased it.
If you later find that the car doesn't suit your needs, making a couple of videos of the it and then sending it down the road would probably be beneficial to your bottom line. Plus you'd get the owner experience for awhile.

That A7 is a very reliable car (do your maintenance and carbon cleaning), fully loaded Prestige package, and night vision is a super rare option, whoa! The windshield is about $1k with heads-up display and recalibrating driver assist, had to replace a windshield in my A4. Both S7 and RS7 will eat their turbos, which is a $10k repair! If the A7 isn't quite enough power, the APR stage 1 tune will make it an absolute monster with just software. Well-maintained, these A7's and A6's will happily go over 200k miles. I'd take that deal, hail and all!

Great video as always Randy. That Volvo with the V8 isn't to bad even though it needs some work and new tires but it looks alright and you could maybe get the drivers seat re upholstered plus the body is in good shape. The Audi is a little risky knowing what could happen plus you could have a lot more projects as well and the Audi may have more stuff that needs attention as well. Keep up the awesome content as always.👍

That Audi appears to have RS badges on the fenders, and that makes it a high performance version if it’s the case. Plus it has the high level Prestige trim, not Premium trim as noted in the auction listing. Audi has three trim levels. Premium, which is really standard or base level (badge inflation), Premium Plus, which is mid-level, and Prestige. Those two items make it a very nice buy for only $9,600.

If you can get the issues fixed, plus buy it now + fees, and be into the car for $15K, or less, then you'll still have meat on the bone.

With a little research, that Audi with similar miles, but in better condition is worth about 16K so in the end, I'd say this one in good condition other than the dings, is $13-14K. Invest $2K for the windshield, and tires, and you're not gonna make much, but you will get your money back. May be able to find a used windshield for $300 or so knocking the investment in repairs down to $1000 which includes about $600 for a decent set of tires mounted, but this is a close one Randy. With the revenue generated by CZcams, I think you'll come out ahead, and it will be a fun one to watch. 😁👍✌

Randy, definitely talk to Jessica about the Audi A7. If you do decide to get it, highly consider selling the Hellkitty after you sort it out. I'm a Volvo person, will consider Ford but not a fan of Mopar/GM. If a Mercedes-Benz, BMW or Audi that comes into my path and its affordable, I will jump on it. That's my opinion.
