People nowadays are so used to autotune and highly produced sounds, they even don’t know how real live voices sound in outdoor venues. He sounds fantastic, by the way
I’m not trying to bash autotune, or post production, or anything that can assist an artist complete the vision they have in their head, because they should be able to use the tools available. That being said, it’s the little things, and the imperfections, that we obsess over and ultimately love. The squeals. The unwanted feedback. The slightly flat vocal note. Music is a feeling, and should be treated as such. Alright, I’m off my soapbox.
some people in the comments should cut him some slack because this was his first time performing this song and also his first time ever at lollapalooza
fr!! what sucks is ppl judge this song purely cuz it’s popular on tiktok and it’s sucks…too many good songs get popular on tiktok and it’s unfair to make them “tiktok songs”
I didn't came out from tiktok, this was playing at my local shops and I Shazamed it! I actually believed for a sec, it was a ST soundtrack because of the synth!
if you guys listen to the song and sing the harmony with the original song, he is actually singing the song the way it sounds. i think he sounds really good for being in front so many people singing LIVE, especially when you are primarily known for acting.
He does the same thing but lowered one whole octave. It's pretty hard to hit the higher notes also playing guitar and trying not to crack your voice. It's very decent I think.
@@ImSonnyReal I mean it came out like two years ago. I'm not saying that makes it "OLD" but some people look at it that way, especially people who frequently use tiktok.
Dreams by Fleetwood Mac is literally one of the the bands biggest songs. It even went #1 on the billboard when it came out. This song is a good example tho
The mixing is completely different, this is not about the singing. We can barely hear the vocal harmony that should be carrying the chorus. It's a sound crew problem.
@cliveklg7739 No but he's right. The studio recording's chorus vocal harmonies carry what a lot of people identify as the main melody. It's really hard to get a mix right live even at a big festival like this. The chorus mainly sounds a little off because the two background vocals are not loud enough in the mix to make it sound like the recording. It takes a ridiculously good singer to sing as well live as they did in the studio when they had as many takes as they needed, and yes some autotune. But his singing here is by no means bad
@@cliveklg7739 you took it too far with the whole incel thing. Completely uncalled for,.. Are you always that much of an ass or was this just on a bad day or something?
@@cliveklg7739Nah he sounds pretty much the same here live as he does in the studio version. The difference is the lack of backing vocals from the other people there which is odd because the backing vocals make it sound so much better
