Lure for tarpon works all the time! I use a mirrordine match the color of water! in Indian river and mosquito lagoon fished fast and erratic

Best bait for tarpon is mullet, you already know where to find tarpon which is the hardest part so get good 6”-12” mullet at the bait shop and free line it. I would use a 5000k reel and heavy rod with at least 20lb braid and 40lb leader. For artificial the DOA white terroreyz or a jerkshad probably also white as well. Good snook

I’m no Tarpon expert but in my experience when they’re behaving like that they’ll only eat either live baitfish or a tiny lure like the smallest sized TerrorEyez that DOA makes
