    I grew up in Texas having black eyed peas every New Years for good luck. Might be a tradition I need to start up again. This recipe looks delicious. Thank you

    Greek food, as much as people think is simple, is hardest to replicate! And as a non-Greek, we visit every 2nd year ! Unfortunately, I am finding it hard to go back as it was my mums favourite destination, and she passed away in February! But, time will heal and I will go back and smile! Love Peloponnese and Pelion!

    Great recipe! Similar to a Moroccan bean stew called Potaje. Btw, sugar doesn’t neutralize acidity, only salt does.

      @@DimitrasDishes Yes! Katia LaManna, you're right! It's in the Blue Zone Kitchen and the recipe is called 'Ikarian Longevity Stew'. This must be a common household recipe from the Greek islands. Sooo delicious!

    Yummy !! Very close to a Persian/Indian dish called Sabzi (herb stew) super healthy (and a cleanser 😉). I'm going to try your version !!
