Third viewing, and the story as presented here finally clicked for me like I was hoping it would.
I cried a little for Miles, in the transition from cases 3-4, and then again when the childhood role reversal came to light.
...I am so glad I know this narrative.

You managed to capture the feelings of the game so perfectly omg. The annoyance with Larry in the first case. The hopelessness at the end of the second case. The resigned fate of the third case and the desperation of the fourth case are all here and it’s amazing. I especially love the young Miles defending Phoenix being swapped to Phoenix defending Edgeworth and hot damn Larry’s sheer look of determination to save his friend that he hadn’t seen in years is just... *chef’s kiss*
It was fucking beautiful. I loved this. You could tell the story that the animator was putting forth so easily. As a fan of Ace Attorney I positively adore this.
They did pretty well with that part of the anime, except for a little detail that was off, but i didnt mind it overall the Whole thing was pretty emotional. In the anime they explain theit friendship with the symbolism of three power rangerx like with Steel Samurai.

@@averagechannelname9969 Sorry for replying so late. What I mean is how in the Games phoenix gets the bullet before the trial, as to where the anime does it in the Middle of it. To be honest it was a jarring transition but I also thought it was funny.

I'm not sure why but the smoothness of the animation when phoenix is like "*HAYYYYYY*" ( around 3:12 ish) is really satisfying to me and I love the bit where old bag is rambling on to maya and phoenix and they just look at eachother and back to old bag with a look of both horror and humorous satisfaction.
My favourite feature is how Phoenix's hair in a sense represents his mood, like it's occasionally down when he's upset, defeated or saddened, but raised high when he's happy, confident or on pursuit. Great job!

Belive me there are far more illogical things in the sequal. The first and third case are awful. However the second case is great and the final case is the best in the series. Also sorry for the awful spelling.
True, it feels a little silly. I guess it could be interpreted as he was so focused on the obvious perspective of the blood message and overlooked the possibility of the receipt being for the broken lamp.

"Richard Wellington loves large bananas"?? "that card even told ME that i'm Phoenix Wright"? lmao this case is peak goofiness i'd love it if you explained what you hate about it

I cant remember a single thing about the culprit other than the fact that he kinda annoyed me.
The first contrdiction sucked.
I dont like that Maya returns in this case because it makes the build up to her return in the second case feel meaningless etc.
I just have a lot nitpicks with this case and nothing in it was really intersting or memorable to me which is why I dont really like it.

I love everything about this oh my god. The first case was great and then Maya and Mia and the channeling and Redd White and I LOVED IT MY GOD. AND THEN TURNABOUT SAMURAI AND EDGEWORTH AND I CAN'T. AND YOU PORTRAYED GOODBYES SO WELL AND I LOVED THE DUAL OBJECTION AT THE VERY END.

I STILL CAN'T *_DUCKING_* GET OVER THE FACT THAT WE'VE BEEN BLESSED WITH HETEROCHROMIA AND FRECKLES PHOENIX IN THIS WONDERFUL MASTERPIECE I-
I don't know what it is about this animatic that just makes you go batshit, but bro this animatic makes you go BATSHIT. It was so well made!! I love the words being so cohesive with the movements, and some parts are just so dynamic. The flow is amazing, if that makes sense. OH I LOVE THE PART AROUND 3:30 where Edgeworth says "No I think it looked a little better on me", and it fits perfectly with where he accused himself of the dl-6 incident. Like, the guilty verdict looked a little better on him. I loved it. Oh, and where Mia came back as Mia-Maya, mama-mia, pizzeria, whatever you call her when she is being channeled, and she's all "HEY YOUNGBLOOD-". Even the villain's were given feeling, like the flashing in Redd White's head. The flashbacks to when they were kids is such a nice touch too, a lot of emotion is not only preserved in this masterpiece, but also brought out, as some of these things can feel a bit watered-down by the restrictive motions that sprites in the game are connected to. Anyway, I really love this, I've been listening to this all the time while I cyberschool! I find it really hard to focus and be self-motivated on my work, and this whole thing is just such a boost of perseverance! Even when I can only hear the song, I can still see the amazing artwork in my head! :)

I just finished Trials and Tribulations the other day. Isn’t this series really something? What a fun animation to honor the first game! Your style is great and while I haven’t seen any other videos of yours, I think you should continue with animation!

Everyone's talking about the amazing animation and emotion, which is fair, but I can't help but focus on the attention to detail. For one, you actually made sure to make Yogi left-handed. Maybe that's not a big deal to everyone else, but it's just something I admire every time I watch this.
I honestly forgot I'd done that! I try to add as many small details as I can, to the point of it being second nature, honestly.

I gotta say, ace attorney was one hell of a series. The series is the reason why I got to this song and the band itself (Fall Out Boy).
You captured the feeling of the song about overcoming past cuts and not stitching itself back up. The animation may be rough, but it seriously got me reliving my Attorney days. The hopelessness and desperation is there, but that is the only reason why you gotta fight back. Sometimes, you gotta put yourself down before rising up to be your best. Both the song and the series have made an incredible impact on me.

This is all I can think about when I hear that song... and that’s not a bad thing!
WOW this is amazing. It's obvious the amount of love you put into this. The facial expressions are perfectly conveying the needed emotions and the choice of song lends itself extremely well to the story. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but I love that everytime you hear the line "I think it looked a little better on me" it correlates with a character accepting/admitting defeat, the first time with Redd White and the other two with Edgeworth. I especially love the way you draw Von Karma's face. His expressions are intense and dramatic, which plays so well into his character.
Tldr: This was AMAZING and I loved every second of it. I can't wait to see more from you!

I try to avoid fallout boy due to some issues with gerard way but this is just stunning. I can't stop watching it. The glint of redd white's rings and teeth. The expression he had as he broke down. From that point on, this went from great to oh-my-GOD great!
Conveyed every emotion I felt during those cases in one animation, awesome job dude.
The fact you managed to get this done in 3 days is probably the most impressive thing for me. I have serious issues with procrastination, so this really inspired my to get shit done because you know what? Literally nothing is stopping me from working on my next project. Thank you.

This is just amazing!! There's so much emotion in every frame and it goes so well with the song! The parts with Miles replicated the adrenaline of seeing him switch to Phoenix's side in the canon super well, and I kept waiting enthusiastically to see the last case! My favorite parts were the parallel made between young Miles and young Phoenix vs. their older selves (that was SO good) and also their double objection after it... it was all so satisfying! I just had to watch this three times in a row!
I also noticed part-way through watching this that Phoenix's hair seemed to be showing his emotions, which I think was a really cute detail! I couldn't put my finger on it at first but that actually reminds me of Sonic (especially with the same blue and the similar shape), not that that is a bad thing - it's a pretty clever way to show a change in emotions with a limited number of frames!
Okay, so this is one of my favorite animatics of all time, and I've watched it at *least* 100 times at this point. So I watched it ten more times just to pick out my favorite lyric/scene combinations. There are probably more, but these are the ones that stood out to me the most:

One of the lines from this song that I really love in the context of Ace Attorney is "So we can take the world back from the Heart Attacked, one maniac at a time, we will take it back."
It's especially an amazing lyric here where you use it to represent April May and Redd White. I feel it's real easy once all is said and done to forget about Redd White, because aside from Mia's death his connection to the overarching plot of the game is rather miniscule. But with this line it characterizes Redd White in a way that even if he is forgettable, what he represents is an essential part of Phoenix's fight for justice, which he takes one maniac at a time.

These cases can get stressful at times, I won’t give up. I’ll never stop defending for what’s right, because I am Phoenix Wright!
