Good antivirus/anti-malware apps like these work best with the users keeping up to date knowledge on how to stay safe online as they can't prevent everything. The Sophos Intercept X for mobile antivirus app is a good free option for protecting your devices and it doesn't have Ads and has many useful features.
Well not yet, currently something is silently downloading adware to my phone, and i suspect some script is running somehow to do that, the app althought didnt find anything after it did a scan, but it do have the tools to see what install the adware, so i am waiting for the next trigger. Also for a free software, it has too much good function than it needs to be.
