Ouch. I’m sorry you got beat up over the wooly audio. You actually covered the feature set very well, but the Tone Hammer has a pretty unique gain and tone signature. It sounds like you were hitting the front end too hard, and over-used the Aguilar’s girthy bass and low-mid profile. Better luck next time!

Is it better than the EHB1005MS? The only difference seems to be the body and the fretboard

I don't get Bartolini pickups sound. The most of Ibanez mid-range priced basses are equipped with them and they all sound the same. Massive but dull. Maybe this sound is good for mixes and after a certain processing it would sound better. But I don't understand the concept and Ibanez decision to put them everywhere at all.

Ok so the Bartolini pickups (BH-2) that you find in mid range priced Basses such as Ibanez are not true Barts they are Chinese made. They are made specifically for Ibanez basses. True Barts are very dynamic sounding and cost a lot more. I swapped out the fake barts a few years ago for true Bartolinis and it was a world of a difference. Very expensive but true difference.

I appreciate this demo but I'd really prefer to hear demos for a substantial future purchase from a capable bass player, that being said, I also appreciate that you acknowledge that you're not a bass player and this does look like quite a fantastic bass! 🤘

Love that bass but not keen on the poopy brown colour

This bass looks stunning. I dig the style and the form and the practicality of it being a headless bass. But...the sound is dreadful to my ears. Dull, lifeless. This bass needs different pickups, I guess.

MY friend, dont judge the bass sound from this video. I own a Ibanez bass with Bartolini pickups and Bartolini pikcups are amazing. Check out this video.

Is that really the tone of the gtr? Very disappointing. Just dull sounding

Sounds terrible tbh. Must be the electronics.
