- Part 1 - From Portbou to Castell del Montgri
Long-distance hiking along the most beautiful bays and villages of the Costa Brava. Border guards used to patrol the Cami de Ronda in search of smugglers. Today the path is part of the GR92 and one of the most beautiful coastal walks in Catalonia.
Overnight stay:
We did the tour from Portbou to Tessa de Mar (about 200 km) with the tent. Since we do not stay overnight in nature reserves, the many campsites are really a special luxury. For about 20 euros you have all the comforts, in addition to sanitary facilities and a washing machine, there was also a pool (*). At the beginning of May not all places were open, but we found a place almost every day.
Fernwandern entlang den schönsten Buchten und Dörfer der Costa Brava. Früher patrouillierten auf dem Cami de Ronda Grenzsoldaten auf der Suche nach Schmugglern. Heute ist der Weg Teil des GR92 und einer der schönsten Küstenwanderwege Kataloniens.
Übernachtung:
Wir haben die Tour von Portbou bis Tessa de Mar (ca 200 km) mit dem Zelt gemacht. Da wir in Naturschutzgebieten nicht übernachten, sind die vielen Campingplätze wirklich als besonderen Luxus hervorzuheben. Für ca 20 Euro hat man sämtlichen Komfort, neben sanitären Anlagen und Waschmaschine gab es auch mal einen Pool (*). Anfang Mai hatten noch nicht alle Plätze offen, aber wir haben doch fast jeden Tag einen Campingplatz gefunden.

Many thanks Luis. The GR92 is really a wonderful trail at the coast. Also the possibility of the campgrounds nearly every day was delightful.
Tolle Costa Brava-Tour mit vielen wunderbaren Aussichten! Und im Mai war es sicher auch noch nicht besonders stark frequentiert dort und von den Temperaturen recht angenehm... Beste Wandersockengrüße und 'n steilen Daumen:)
Vielen Dank Euch Wandersocken. Tatsächlich haben wir nur sehr wenige Wanderer getroffen und zwischen den Orten sowie an den meisten Stränden war einfach niemand. War sehr verwundert dass diese wunderbare Tour scheinbar eher ein Geheimtipp ist.
