These videos are the shit. So well explained and in depth. Keep them coming! I'm glad I had this video pop up on my phone. Swiped pretty quick Just as a passing comment, my nieces came over the other week and I was playing NGB, and I gave my 7 year old niece the controller, and she somehow got runaway lightning 5 times! She had never played the game or even looked at the moves list. Absolutely mental
Runaway Lightning and Ripping Thunder are actually my go-to moves against the Flails Ryu whenever I'm trying to do all the clone missions with the default weapon. Runaway Lightning is guaranteed against a whiffed Flying Swallow or a whiffed OL Auspicious Crane (charge Y). Also, for some reason, Fiend Ryu has a tendency to immediately Ninpo if he sees any ->Y launchers, or even -> hold Y (i.e. Blade of the Twin Dragons). However, Fiend Ryu rarely uses Ninpo against Runaway Lightning. Then, after Runaway Lightning, you can try and time Demon Chasers. When I used to play the game more, I had a roughly 50% success rate on Demon Chasers. While they unfortunately won't kill him in one shot, they do knock him back down again and you can try again. My best is hitting four consecutive Demon Chasers in one of these fights. It's actually mainly how I win the fight. The one downside, of course, is that if your X is blocked against the Flails Ryu, you can get counter attacked to death. I do not accept any responsibility for any injuries sustained while getting counter attacked. Use at your own risk :)
Muuuuchas gracias por explicar cómo hacer el Runaway Lightning :') jajajjajja siempre sufría cuando el ryu malo me la aplicaba y yo quedaba con las ganas de devolverla. LIKE
I've always wanted to play a street samurai nunchuku monk in shadowrun, but my dm never let me without taking some severe drawbacks to damage and utility. I've always wanted to show him the vigorian flail moveset to try and convince him, but I'm too poor to get a copy of the game and there was never a good moveset video on youtube. I showed him this video and he's already approved my character (mostly because I think nunchuku have an actual kung-fu style now). thanks bud. edit: reworded a little.
good luck tho. nunchuku are kinda an blunt weapon that aren't really that useful unless you really close and have superhuman strength or cyborg implacts. Vigoorian flairs? oh boy. better not lose an limb or two.
I remember using these weapons as a young kid. I preferred them to the big golden sword even though that sword had more damage because as you said the hitbox is all around Ryu Hayabusa and stun locks.
If you're playing for karma then yes as the chucks UT is a lot less powerful than the Flails but for the most part the Flails will be better in every other scenario.
It's great for controlling groups, the Y ender is good if you need to buy some breathing room or near walls as well. Be sure to redirect your attacks though to keep all enemies in hit stun.

*Actually nunchaku are an Okinawan Karate weapon.*

Im gonna runaway lightning so many enemies now! Cant wait to test it out! Great video, keep it up bro!
I have been trying to figure out that move for YEARS!
oh shit lmao im playing NGB rn
11:07 lol nice one
Mike Kanis
It looks Kickass.
Nice
are you going to make video of weapon breakdown of
ninja gaiden 2 and 3 as well
Also, how is looping a kick into the rear of an ogre useless? That seems useful to me, especially as ogres tend to fight you 1v1.
Is there any reason to use the nunchucks once you get the flails?
If you're playing for karma then yes as the chucks UT is a lot less powerful than the Flails but for the most part the Flails will be better in every other scenario.
The move that the Doppelgangers(evil Ryu) use on you when they jump over you and hit you're back when we're blocking, can we do that or only them?
That's runaway lightning, I cover that from around 9:25 in the video.
Also, we can't do that if the first X is blocked, but they can. It's pretty bs.
Is the XXXX and block canceling ok with groups or is it only useful for one on one situations?
It's great for controlling groups, the Y ender is good if you need to buy some breathing room or near walls as well. Be sure to redirect your attacks though to keep all enemies in hit stun.
Ninja Gaiden Black Nunckuku and level 1 wooden sword run
0 dislikes means that kids dont play this game lol
This game is not good for kids. Even normal difficulty will be too much for them
It's spelled nunchaku with an A not nunchucku with U. Do you proof read your stuff bro? Or do you just hope nobody notices?
Shut up
