They know one another well enough and none of us have a clue about how their relationship is and how it works. Coaches can try to get into the mindset of their players and try to empathise so more up close intimate interactions isn’t bizarre. Think you’re reading too much into that. A male coach could touch a male players feet without it being seen as anything more than what you’re thinking. It can just be more a personal one to one trying to lift their spirits for example.

I am sure she's like everyone else. Once in awhile you get moody. Also, you have to assume they are together almost 24/7 so at some point she is going to tune him out. So he has to try to get her focus back.
You don't get a player to change by fighting them. Based on the comments, I guess this is a hot take, but this isn't good coaching. You have to make them feel understood, guide them, and have them come up with the solution you want them to find on their own. Only then will they really believe it. Just forcing it at them isn't going to do anything.
Not a good listener. Always cutting her off, every sentence. Also it's much easier to be tactically savvy in hindsight. Most shots are reactive. Try to give yourself a simple goal of going crosscourt 2 out of 3 times and have someone count for you from the side of the court, without telling you the totals until the end. Then repeat with a goal of 1 out of 4. This assuming you do the same on both wings.
