Stuka gunners had to have a stomach made from cast iron. Must have taken quite a bit of getting used to those dives. If you’re on the stick it is an entirely different story.

What is that growling buzzer noise? Some kind of over speed warning?
It's the contact altimeter's horn. You set it up before taking off inputting the altitude at which you want to drop the bomb. Once in a dive, the horn will start sounding some 50 meters higher than the desired altitude. When the horn stops, you know you've reached it and you can drop the bomb and let the dive recovery system help you out.
