- Zendikar Rising has introduced the party mechanic, which includes the tribes Cleric, Rogue, Warriors, and Wizards teaming up for an adventure. But while teamwork is a noble goal, anyone who has been on an adventure knows you're bound to have party conflict! So who would win in a party brawl? Let's find out:
- Crim sneaks behind enemy lines to yoink stuff out of graveyards with a Rogue Tribal deck led by Anowon, the Ruin Thief
- Richard puts on his robe and Wizard hat to play a Wizard Spellslinger deck led by Kaza, Roil Chaser
- Seth sacrifices his Clerics for value, over and over again, with the help of Orah, Skyclave Hierophant
- Tomer is playing a WARRIOR deck full of WARRIORS and doing WARRIOR things with Akiri, Fearless Voyager
Which party member will end up victorious in a party brawl? Find out now on Commander Clash! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish CZcams Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

The subplot where Tomer, even after being warned, attempted to eat a raw plantain was the highlight of this episode.
The more episodes I watch the more I think Richard is the protagonist
Pretty much.
Tomer: *Is told that he is supposed to play a Warrior tribal deck. Builds deck around one warrior and then just equip good stuff*
Also Tomer: *Sees a "big banana" and decides to eat it despite warnings that it is actually a plantain, which you do not eat raw*
I question Tomer's decision making abilities.
I can respect the random store pickups, they make life more interesting
@@___ooobodybagooo___ I think you're taking this more seriously then any of the players.
@@___ooobodybagooo___ woooooah relax buddy cut him some slack he made the deck in like an hr and it his birthday.
@@___ooobodybagooo___ Tomer consistently plays decks on a $50 budget while Crim puts a $150+ mana drain in every deck he plays. I feel that you might have some bias here bro.
@@___ooobodybagooo___ I don't think it needs to go that far. I was making a joke in my post. I do not feel that he needs to be removed from the group. Instead they should use this as an opportunity to communicate better. Games are usually a lot more fun when you discuss power levels prior to play to ensure everyone is at the same level.
It was also his birthday so they may have been in on it, tbh.
Crim: “no infinites”
Me: -eyeing Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank-
Seems sus
It's not infinite lol just about 70ish depending on when it comes out
@@Ryuka1993 bloodchief ascension and mindcrank create a feedback loop between the 2 of them. They will continue until either the opponent has no cards in library or they lose enough life to lose the game. Its by definition an infinite combo.
@@jondubois5347, an infinite has no bounds.
The way Seth eats his food is increasingly concerning
I actually agree with Seth on the sandwich thing. at most ill have bbq sauce on an appropriate sandwich
As a texture eater, Seth is right, sauces make everything soggy.
@@endermeap6488 nnon
@@endermeap6488 I used to put sauce on everything until I figured it was really bad for me and I tried it in vanilla ice-cream just to see if I could have it on anything and it tasted like what dead ants smell like.
@@neckropemancer5416 whaaaaaaaaaat did I just read
Tomer be like “I’m Tomer, Kaldra’s Herald the welder of the mighty Stabacus!”
I know people will complain about the lack of Warriors, but every week is guessing game as to who breaks theme the most and im here for it. That game sold me on waves of aggression!
Yeah, well there are legit good warriors that care about equipment. Even in Standard, despite Omnath(since his decks have no fliers or removal) WR Equipment/Warrior decks done right(which isn't hard) is a relatively consistent turn 4 or turn 5 win. So Tomer passing on those warriors for yet another Boros equipment deck, on a themed week is worse than most other cases of someone breaking theme.
Arhen Dante not to excuse his lack of theme, but he did explicitly state that this was her personal draft of his own Akiri deck; Tomer didn’t pull a fast one to try to get a leg up, he was too drunk to wake up in time to finish his warrior deck.
@@AhranMaoDante its not at all worse. its the exact same.
How did seth stumble upon the right pronunciation for orah, skyclave hierophant in the intro.
He got it wrong with the "I don't think there's any combos" thing, though - two cheap Clerics that sac themselves leads to an infinite ETB loop (sac #1, return #2, sac #2, return #1, repeat). Ashnod's/Phyrexian Altar for infinite mana then an X spell that drains life, that pinging artifact that untaps whenever a creature dies, straightout lifeloss when a creature dies, etc. Sure it takes a handful of cards, but not totally tricky using black and its abundance of tutors.
Andrew Sparkes Orah only brings back clerics with lower cmc than the dying cleric, if cleric 1 can bring back 2, 2 can’t bring back 1.
@@cjfeinberg7613 Very true! Missed that bit - my bad!
Why did I just discover your content now? I’m seriously hooked on your videos, I love the decks you all brew and the creativity with which you do it.
Creature types that Tomer has as many or more of in his deck of than Warriors (minus his Commander):
Human
Knight
Cleric
Cat
Soldier
Advisor
Giant
Angel
I kinda want old Commander Clash back, where Tribal or flavor week meant going all out for flavor over efficiency :(
That's the benefit of having a more strict budget restriction.
@@PalPlays i agree. 20 tix was great (also you could them Build on a budget in real life most of the time with some cuts)
"I was looking at my plantain!"
Best excuse for not paying attention ever.
Happy belated birthday, Kaldra! I mean... Tomer!
There's a way to win for Richard at 3:11:40 - but sadly it needs every single mana of color he can produce and therefore he wouldn't be able to do it - as Crim can just counter the one spell that's not using Boseju. Still, here it is for posterity:
1. Mystical Tutor for Rite of Replication (using an Island).
2. Draw Step draw it.
3. Merchant Scroll for Expansion // Explosion (using the second Island and Reliquary Tower).
4. Activate Kaza for 3 Mana discount.
5. Cast Rite of Replication (unkicked) targeting Dual Caster Mage (using the third Island and Izzet Boilerworks - holding Ctrl and leaving 1 Red Mana floating)
6. Cast Expansion targeting Rite of Replication (using the 1 floating Red Mana and the one Mountain).
7. Convince Crim that infinite dual Caster mages don't do anything as he can just attack next turn and win easily - so this is for the camera and he doesn't need to counter any of this (fat chance, right?).
8. Repeat to convince Crim to hold back while we create 25 new Dual Caster Mages and use the last one to instead create a copy of Kaza which we keep, replacing the old, tapped one (oh yeah, this is Endgame alternative universe level unlikely to not get countered).
9. Tap the new Kaza to get a 28 mana discount.
10. Cast Comet Storm targeting theasianavenger (with a 28 mana discount, Boseju, Exotic Orchard and Heraldic Banner).
11. Crim laughs maniacally realizing he can't counter the comet storm and takes 29 damage to the face.
So yeah, if Richard had tutored for any of these two cards earlier (like that one round where he could've cast Merchant Scroll, but didn't), then he might've won.
Good game!
if only he plays Twinflame or Ghostly Flicker in his deck, he could have won on 2:22:13 . Dualcaster Mage is actually pretty busted but many people tend to overlook it as a combo piece.
I like how you include pregame snippits at the beginning of the video. It adds to the charm of the show.
Lol when glasspool mimic copies metallic mimic, it is a rogue shapeshifter in addition to being a shapeshifter rogue.
Happy Birthday Tomer!
Fun fact: in Japanese schools there is an Abacus Club where students practice doing high speed high complexity math equations, assisted by the abacus. There's even competitive inter-school matches.
I really appreciate that you guys demonstrate fun without unbridled profanity, filthy innuendo, and even a ban list. You're all skilled players but you steer clear of overtly cruel and "mean" play-styles. I respect you guys a lot for that! Also: flip-lands
That subtle "no it's not" from the editor was hilarious. I feel your anonymous pain
Crim yelling "Get out of here Tomer!" makes my weekend every week.
Can't believe Tomer skipped out on Stonehewer Giant, he's playing an equipment deck! I thought for sure that would be the one random warrior!
He did have stonehewer, it got milled by crim
The deck wasn't completely without warrior, it just doesn't show up for recruiting.
It doesn't apply all the time, but the difference between Soldiers and Warriors is that Soldiers are military (or similarly) trained where as Warriors are kind of a catch-all for most other types of fighters. Knights are usually represented by heavily armored units, holy fighters, or high ranking military units.
"You will see some Richard cards in here"
Me: Immediatly searches for Jokuhaups
Anowon is illustrated by my favorite artist, Magalli Villeneuve. The more you know
Won't give Tomer crap for forgetting to make a deck with all the new content he's in charge of (or because he was hungover I guess) but I would have rathered him just grab a random warrior deck offline and use that rather than just not sticking to the theme at all
It's hard to build a warrior deck when it doesn't support the theme at all...
This is gonna sound dumb, but I would love to see yall play among us. Your interactions are hilarious already. I'd love to see yall secretly try to sabotage each other in space.
This will happen in about two hours and a half. The Clash crew alongside more members of the Magic Community, each on their respective channels.
Tomer seems like a nightmare to play among us with, over-negotiating everything
Can’t believe Crim missed out on the perfect chance to run Thada Adel, Acquisitor to steal all of Tomer’s Kaldra pieces and keep them all in exile without even casting them. It’s even a rogue! Also no mana drain or countertop??!!
Watching Richard constantly make sure his auto-yields were off for the Agadeem's was kinda funny to me
Tomer with the 'spooky' tribal. Just in time for october.
Is akiri bugged in MTGO. at arround 47:50 tomer attacked both Seth and Richard but only drew 1 card.
Ruling :
Akiri’s first ability has you draw just one card per player you attack with an equipped creature, no matter how many equipped creatures you attack them with beyond the first and no matter how many Equipment that creature’s carrying beyond the first.
It seems like it is bugged since it only triggered once instead of twice
Yeah I saw that too. Definitely a bug.
Tomer: "this is a silent portest" 1:14:44
*been protesting since the last game* xD
Tomer sounds like he's tweaking on MDFC. I hope he didn't party too hard on his birthday.
Im bidging Commander Clash after not playing magic for a year, but man, everyone in the comments takes this show far too seriously
Somedays Editor is the best part of Commander Clash
Omnath week!!!!!!!! Let's go people!
Happy birthday, Tomer! I hope you play an actually warrior deck sometime, the tribe is so much fun
The second game was just shenanigans level of politics coming out of Crim, defending the Bloodchief Ascension. I don't know how Seth and Richard were woo'ed by it, but I do know that Crim needs to run for office.
Happy Late Birthday Tomer! Here's to Richard building your phylactery and another millenia of Commander Clash!
Tomer truly is the dungeon master of the group
Happy Birthday Tomer! As usual keep up the great work MTG Goldfish!
also @14:22 look at ALL THOSE WARRIORS. Your WARRIOR TRIBAL deck has less than the number of fingers in both my hands lmao
the title made me think it was a brawl video lol
If Richard hadn't punt, after casting the Enter the Infinite uncounterably he would have had Fierce Guardianship to counter the Denial countering the Blasphemous act, so Richard would have won
Tomer, dont listen to all the complaints about not being on theme. I like watching when someone completely ignores the restrictions from time to time, especially if its because you procrastinated building the deck.
Also happy one week after your birthday or something like that I guess?
Commander Clash is beautiful and chaotic and ridiculous this week.
Never change guys
Happy Birthday Tomer! While you didn't get to win with Kaldra on your Birthday. You did win with Boros equipment, which is an accomplishment by it's self.
Bloodchief Ascension does not actually work with Treasures. Those are tokens, not cards, so it won't trigger.
Crim: Why'd you use the Strip Mine?
Ummm, because you never give a straight answer 😅 Get used to be treated in a confusing manner if thts the case
Amazing spooky moonfolk tribal for Tomer.
52:55 OOOOOOooooooooooo He cursed... Fire him Richard.
Of all the words in the english language, why would you use the word ''Brawl" in your title... very misleading
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TOMER.
BAN CRIM.

Alt title: 3 hrs of Kris crying about other people’s card draw
Good game. I did laugh when Tomer didn’t have any warriors cause that’s so him I love the content you guys are awesome keep up the good work.
And the same reason is why I hated this episode. Tomer, cheating as always, not sticking to his promises, breaking the rules he imposses to others, totally ingoring themes etc.
No reason to be negative it was supposed to be like a funny antic I think. I enjoyed it I don’t think there’s a reason to be negative about it as long as everyone had fun
Oh thank God. When I read the video title, I thought you were playing Brawl.
is next week going to bee elemental week? (Omnath / Phylath / Ashaya / Yasharn)
or maybe just omnath week? (each player plays a different omnath)
Well if so itd be 3 elementals decks and a kaldra deck
1:09:00 @tomer maybe ketchup on mac and cheese is a Canadian thing? I'm from Toronto and my friends and some family did it all the time growing up and I never understood it haha.
Ketchup and mayo in mac n cheese sounds pretty decent
"Do you think all the new players will call it Robin?"
..suddenly feel very old..
When I started playing UWR was called Raka or American, remember it changing to Patriot after that and now Jeskai. Guess we're changing them again.. I'll just stick to saying UWR.
Spoiler Alert: Akiri doesn't actually die. Nissa catches her with a vine.
That's what she says, at least. Actually, Akiri DID die, but Nissa used her new black Mana powers and minused to reanimate her.
The Notion Thief when someone else has a Phyrexian Arena seems especially nasty.
Happy birthday Tommer. I hope i am not late.
Happy, one week ago, Birthday Tomer!
Happy birthday Tomerino
I remember Tomer blocking Seths drawing saying i can't allow you to draw more cards then me
In Venezuela we usually mix Ketchup and Mayo to make what we call "Pink Sauce" (Salsa Rosada) and it's pretty tasty on your sandwiches
Happy birthday tomer!
From the abacuses I know:
An abacus has multiple rows of 9-10 beads. Each row stands for a roman numeral placement. (ones, tens, hundreds, etc)
The older ones use different number systems and thus different beads per row and so on.
A lot of them use rows of 5 in a 1+4 configuration, so you can count 0-9 with half the beads.
Happy Belated Birthday, Tomer!
"No sauce, no additives" - Chef Seth
SAFFRONOLIVE
Happy Belated Birthday Tomer. Great episode.
Happy Birthday, Tomer!
Happy Birthday Mr. Card Draw AKA Mr. Kaldra Simp AKA Doctor Anime!
No sauce cereal. Lol
Love it when boros is archenemy
Happy bday my boy tomer
I agree with the editor on the ketchup on eggs thing...
Arcane Denial allows the countered spell's controller to not draw cards. There is a chance Richard was just dead anyway because Blasphemous Act would be countered, but I think he should have forced Crim to go through the motions anyway.
I honestly dont blame Tomer, Been there buddy XD
I think Tomer should name his deck "Fingerquotes Warriors".
I'm just pausing this right at the start to say that I don't know if I'm excited for or scared by the 4 hour episode
#NotSurprised that Crim plays the mill/stealing deck. Love the other decks, though and happy to see this theme :)
Happy Birthday Tomer!
Happy Birthday Tomer!!!!
happy birthday tomer
At 49:58 tomer you had the chance to get a PURESTEEL PALADIN WITH METALCRAFT ACTIVE! Why did you not get it you had enough mana to play it and equip the hammer to it for protection. It's obvious that you didn't have any warriors available to tutor so why not get a utility creature instead of the ascendant? I'm not mad or trying to be mean I'm just really confused.
Happy Belated Birthday Tomer!
Tomer's Warrior deck with Knight, Soldier, Advisor, and no Warrior is very on point.
Wait, they're supposed to be playing Tribal Decks? hmmm, i guess he owes everyone else in the next 3 sessions then?
worth noting, the bloodchief ascension wouldn't stop using treasures. bloodchief triggers off *cards* going to the graveyard, tokens are not technically cards
ketchup on mac and cheese is a Canadian thing
Tomer, your lack of respect for the abacus bothers me, as does your lack of warriors.
All kidding aside, good content as usual. I really enjoy these videos.
R.I.P abacus, F's in the chat
Seth's comment about hot dogs in mac and cheese at 1:08 confuses me... is that a thing? That didn't answer the question it only added more questions!
Watching seth in this game ACTUALLY hurt my soul
Ooohhh happy happy birthday form all of us to you happy happy birthday may all your dreams come true 👏
I wonder for the next commander clash who will use the new 4 color omnath
Tomer try oven roasting the Plantains. They are pretty good. lol
The puns keep coming....like farts...
Lol crimathy. Great episode
