  • I used to work at Cartier for several years and sharing a tutorial on how to care for your Cartier LOVE bracelet.
    Be careful when removing and putting on your LOVE bracelet as that is when damage can occur. It can take several weeks for it to be repaired and is often sent to the New York workshop.
    1. Keep it stored in a pouch
    2. Clean it 1-2x a year. If your bracelet has diamonds or stones in it, they will inspect the setting.
    3. Check that your bracelet is secure often.
    Thanks for watching!

    Thank you so much for making this, I definitely over loosened and over tightened my love bracelet the first time I did both on my own, I now know this and definitely won’t make that error again.

    So I take it to open it you turn the screwdriver clockwise and to close it you turn the screwdriver anti-clockwise?

    Awesome tutorial! Most Helpful video I’ve seen so far. What is the best way to find the right size? Is it based on personal preference of how tight or loose ? After few days of my purchase I decided I wanted the larger size. My SA was not there and another associate helped. Unf. She was not very nice. While she may have been advising how to correctly size according to Cartier, that if it’s big it could turn - narrow side fertile and one could ruin the mechanism and It makes sense ... but she was very kirt and told me to keep the size. I will go back when My SA is there to try on the larger size but I wanted to ask ur thoughts.

      Hi Colleen, you probably already took care of this but I would say, a bit of both. Truthfully I am a size 17, but I don't like the feeling of it so I wear an 18. Sometimes people feel like they are an in-between size and would recommend to go with what feels right. My 18 is a bit loose and turns sometimes but that's fine with me 😊 hope this helps!

    I know they don't recommend polishing too often because it removes layers of the gold. How is the soft polish is it safer, and does not remove layers of gold?

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 5 lety

      Hi Janet, there are different intensities of polish. This "quick shine" removes a bit of dullness but not all of the scratches. I wouldn't say it removes layers of gold. It's probably equivalent to rubbing the bracelet on a soft cloth really fast. Hope that helps!

    Hello Diana, thank you for this video! Do you think it would be ok to remove the CLB once per year? Or will it eventually loosen the screws too much? Xx

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 5 lety +2

      Once per year is what I do, too! Generally speaking, in the long term, the screws may need some maintenance but that is totally normal - as with any I we have these days. Hope that helps!

    I got my bangle in March and it’s not June and it’s full of scratches and always so dirty looking :( I take care of my skin and use lots of oils so maybe that is why. Unfortunately when I bought it they Never gave me a cleaning kit! I emailed them and I hope they send me it, I didn’t get a pouch either

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Mya, glad you emailed them! Sometimes lotions can look like scratches because oil looks streaky on metal. Hope you get a pouch and cleaning kit!

    Hi Does the soft polish done by Cartier remove fine scratches?

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 5 lety

      It can remove some fine scratches and light smudges. But I recommend having someone at Cartier look at your bracelet for any specific scratches.

    I dont know much about cartier or any other jewelry,, may I know if the gold/rose gold colour will fade (?) like if I use it 24/7 even during shower or swimming ?

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 5 lety +1

      Quite certain water and chlorine have no effect on gold since it in an inert metal. Most likely a good cleaning will help?

  • @janettezcan4694
    @janettezcan4694 Před 5 lety

    I hear that the pink gold fades, can it be polished back to pink or dipped in the pink gold to get the color back?

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 5 lety

      Yes, pink gold can fade over time and can be polished to look like new again. I recommend you to visit your local Cartier boutique

    You should not have to go through all of that crap for a bracelet that cost nearly $7000 dollars. I should be able to wear my bracelet and not worry about a damn thing!

    Hello, do you know if Cartier still does the Love bracelet with 6 diamonds in the original version ? (The thick one) but with the new screws !

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 5 lety

      From my understanding, it's only 4 diamond or 10 diamond in the classic width. I'd refer to their website to be 100% sure, though.

      It's a love bracelet, I think they were inspired by chastity belts of sorts. The idea is that you never take it off.

    could you share the pros and cons of wear the bracelet around the wrist or looser fit (bangle-like). I personnaly dont have preference for both, so just lookng for some recommendation

    • @dianaisneverwong
      @dianaisneverwong  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Cindy, basically the looser fit would have the bracelet move around and bang into more things resulting in possibly more damage with the closure. I would recommend to get properly fitted at the store. Once you have it on, the space between your wrist and bracelet should be able to fit 1 finger for a more tighter fit and 2 fingers for more looser fit but not more than that. I should make a video for fittings... Meanwhile, I hope this helps!

      @@dianaisneverwong thanks for your reply. Mine has a little bit more than 1 finger distance on the space between my wrist and the bracellet, and it was measured in cartier boutique. I was not having concern before, cause the euphoria of bring home the new bracellet :) but now that I wear it for few months and saw other people's fit, i started concerning mine. Anyway, your explanation put me at ease, thanks a lot.. and yes, video for fitting will helps a lot of people like me :)
