Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers - Sealed Star 11 (Rooftops) - 01'23"77

At the time of this being uploaded, I've successfully collected all of the Chaos Emeralds and the first four Super Emeralds in Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers! This Special Stage gave me trouble the first time. The issue for me wasn't even the end of the stage, but instead the rooftops right before that section. To make sure that I wouldn't fail it the second time, I practiced this stage multiple times, and this is currently the fastest of the practice attempts! I played as Chaos 0 both for this and in the actual Grand Prix, so this probably isn't as fast as it could be with other characters that have higher speed stats.

That was an amazing run of this! This specific Sealed Star has been my cryptonite so far. The awkward slopes on the building section and the small stair slope at the very end get me everytime. XD

Any tips for that very last part on the slopes? I had the opposite problem as you, no trouble anywhere else but I cannot do that section consistently

For that section, it helped to start by driving very slightly toward the side of one column of the checkerboard pattern, and then trying to swerve the kart through that weird offroad section similar to in the video. After a while, I found myself being about to clear the very end consistently without fail as long as I've freed the Emerald prior to that point.

@@LimitCrown is there a perticular driver that has a better chance nabbing this pericular emerald i normaly go for 6,6 but i don't know i can brake the ufo before the slope rooftops section its that last part where i have like 0 control and can't stear to a side i always fall down the middle
Update" folowing the hint you told another user about taking a edge of the narrow bridge i BEARLY got to the end im going to try and nab that DAMN 4th super emerald in a GP now
update update i snaged that DAMN 4th super emerald ....now i just have to get a S rank ....ill do that LATER

@@KeiraLunar I'm not sure which set of stats is the most ideal for Sealed Star 11, but I figure that any character can successfully complete the stage. I often play as Chaos, who has a speed stat of 3 and a weight stat of 8 in this game. Since they're a low-speed character, they have decently high acceleration, a fast-acting tether, and fairly long-lasting ring boosts compared to characters with high speed. This lets them keep up with the UFO Catcher even in the event that a couple of small mistakes are made. Low-speed high-weight characters also have the strongest drift boosts. High-weight characters may be a bit difficult to control, but I've gotten accustomed to the way that they play over time.
For Sealed Star 11 specifically, there are two sets of double banana item boxes. I didn't throw the ones in the first set properly, however; those ones seemingly intend for you to drive over the weird off-road in a straight line so that you can lob the bananas at the UFO Catcher while it's in the air. I show how the ones from the second set are best used. Lobbed bananas deal high damage compared to other items, so the two opportunities that you're given to use them are what will allow you to break the UFO Catcher early. For the very last section, you want to start driving down the edge of one side and then make slight turns in order to avoid falling.

@@LimitCrown thanks for all the pointers i apreciate the non gitgud like comment i would normaly get when i ask a community a question or need help in a game your tips have been very helpful i only have the Super Cup and Egg cup's super emeralds left to chase

@@KeiraLunar Good luck with the remaining ones! The last Sealed Star stage, Atlantis, is probably the most difficult throughout, but one may find it easier when compared to Sealed Star 11's last section.
