Literally the best professional wrestling content online and it's not even close. Maven is an amazing person and a stand guy and he definitely deserves the success he is having now.
WWE being strict with allowing scheduled time off wouldn't be a problem if they provided full-time employee benefits. The fact that they don't while still demanding employee obligations to be fulfilled is what's so egregious.
Maven is on to something really big here. Through his wonderfully crafted content (kudos equally to his partner & team), he is single-handedly bringing us (the fans of WWE, but till the 2000s and not beyond) back to WWE. So the WWE as a whole may start to re-gain considerable traction among this TG, due to Maven's wonderful efforts!

This is why Stacy Keibler, who is not a wrestler but a model, were able to stay long on the business and survived the mass layoff in 2005 (Wrestlers like Molly, Jazz, Dawn Marie, Ms Jackie, Ivory were released but Stacy stayed) because she never complained, never made an excuse, did her own makeup/wardrobe and make sure to get into training while being on TV. Everything was working well until she joined Dancing with the Stars and left WWE to pursue acting which I think was a bad move
The interesting thing about that list of ladies you have on there not all of those releases were equal. In fact Molly Holly left in early 2005 of her own will. She has done an interview on the reason ig you're a fan of her's look it up because it is a true peak behind the current. But many of these other ladies simply they had nothing for them to do and while it sucks sometimes that's a very harsh reality.
In regards to bringing the friends & family, Lio Rush was bad about bringing his wife & kids backstage because the WWE stars were getting tired of it. Jake Robert's even said never bring your significant other on the road with you because they will see too much

Maven has single-handedly recreated my interest in WWE. I started to watch all the old PPVs from when I was younger. I’m really enjoying learning about the “behind the scenes” stuff. As a kid I loved the story lines, now as an adult and thanks to channels like this I found new internets. I love hearing all the hard work and planning that goes into a match. I can’t say enough just how fascinating this information is. Thank you Maven for the content and for being such a great person. The missed wake up call sounds similar to the situation that got Buddy Landel fired from JCP / NWA Mid Atlantic back in 1986 just before he was about to be programmed with Ric Flair in a “battle of the Nature Boys” feud while Flair was the NWA champion. Landel missed the TV tapings at WTBS despite getting the call that he was late, so he was fired. They were going to shoot the angle to set up the feud between Landel and Flair, but he blew that up by not showing up for the taping. Probably cost him some good money as JCP was hitting its stride about that time.

I could imagine Maven annoying some wrestlers. Maven never wants to put any sort of blame on WWE, even though they pushed him to certain negative pointd like many others or perhaps did things that were a bit heartless. However I feel likr I relate to Maven a lot. While someone can push you somewhere, ultimately the decision of where you land is on your shoulders and Maven has went to the dark sports and used those experiences to understand how he got there and how to fight it. A real role model of a guy

Luckily, it looks as though WWE has become much more lenient when it comes to asking for time off, now that Triple H is in control. Sami Zayn being written off recently was later revealed to simply be a case of Sami asking for some personal time off, and from all reports Hunter realized that the talent should be given more time to spend with their family for special moments that they historically used to miss, like children's birthdays. Some feel that Hunter's health scare not long ago made him further appreciate the limited time that we all have in life, so now the company is more willing to give talent those extra moments to be with their families, though I'm sure there are still limits to prevent people from taking advantage of that.

Its horrendous that asking for time off is the #1 thing to get you in trouble. Wrestlers are human, and this is a big reason wrestlers keep dying young. Its hard on the body, and takes years off life. Wrestling needs an off season.
You can thank Hulk Hogan for that. Jesse Ventura was trying to start a Union in the wrestling business, but Hogan snitched on him because he wanted to kiss Vince's ass. Now it's impossible to get it unionized.

Having idolized a lot of wrestlers growing up and trying to get into the business myself, it's nice to learn about how WWE works behind the scenes Thank you for putting out constant content like this.
What I learn from all this videos (Great content btw) is that by signing a Wwe contract you are basically selling your soul to them. You start living exclusively for the benefit of the company and you better forget about having your own life. You must arrive 8 hours in advance, leave 3 hours late, kiss ass of anybody who has a higher status than you, pay for the traveling, hotels, food, etc. You must risk your life by using roids to look good and to endure the injuries, and you are the one who will pay for them, not WWE. Do not even dare to say something, or to ask for time off (unless your mother is dying), because they will fire you. In other words, WWE takes full advantage of the person’s desire of becoming a WWE superstar, and makes him their slave. “We will pay you enough money to make a decent living, and you can have the satisfaction of being a WWE superstar. In return we will own you 24/7 and you better forget about having a life outside of this company. Now you exist exclusively for this company and your only goal in life must be to make McMahon even more rich”

Bro I'll be 45 next month, if the Lord allows it. I've been a wrestling fan ever since I can remember. I grew up in the south and was privileged to some great wrestling events in the Memphis area. This is why Stacy Keibler, who is not a wrestler but a model, were able to stay long on the business and survived the mass layoff in 2005 (Wrestlers like Molly, Jazz, Dawn Marie, Ms Jackie, Ivory were released but Stacy stayed) because she never complained, never made an excuse, did her own makeup/wardrobe and make sure to get into training while being on TV. Everything was working well until she joined Dancing with the Stars and left WWE to pursue acting which I think was a bad move
The interesting thing about that list of ladies you have on there not all of those releases were equal. In fact Molly Holly left in early 2005 of her own will. She has done an interview on the reason ig you're a fan of her's look it up because it is a true peak behind the current. But many of these other ladies simply they had nothing for them to do and while it sucks sometimes that's a very harsh reality.
In regards to bringing the friends & family, Lio Rush was bad about bringing his wife & kids backstage because the WWE stars were getting tired of it. Jake Robert's even said never bring your significant other on the road with you because they will see too much

Even if I had the ability to be a WWE wrestler, I could never deal with the backstage shit. It would drive me nuts and would probably get into fist fights.

Maven has single-handedly recreated my interest in WWE. I started to watch all the old PPVs from when I was younger. I’m really enjoying learning about the “behind the scenes” stuff. As a kid I loved the story lines, now as an adult and thanks to channels like this I found new internets. I love hearing all the hard work and planning that goes into a match. I totally felt what you said about shaving your head and it coming to a point when you notice its no longer your choice. As someone whos been doing it since his teens and is now almost forty that realization hit hard man . The missed wake up call sounds similar to the situation that got Buddy Landel fired from JCP / NWA Mid Atlantic back in 1986 just before he was about to be programmed with Ric Flair in a “battle of the Nature Boys” feud while Flair was the NWA champion. Landel missed the TV tapings at WTBS despite getting the call that he was late, so he was fired. They were going to shoot the angle to set up the feud between Landel and Flair, but he blew that up by not showing up for the taping. Probably cost him some good money as JCP was hitting its stride about that time.
Maven was the first wwe superstar to ever slap this guys hand when I was 7 years old at a house show in Georgia! Wont ever forget it! It made my night. You’re a real one!

The great ricky the dragon steamboat actually felt the brunt of asking for time off, he was the IC Champ and fresh off the iconic match with Randy Savage.They actually had big plans for him with the belt but he requested time off for his newborn son and that leads to him dropping the belt and never getting it back

I could imagine Maven annoying some wrestlers. Maven never wants to put any sort of blame on WWE, even though they pushed him to certain negative pointd like many others or perhaps did things that were a bit heartless. However I feel likr I relate to Maven a lot. While someone can push you somewhere, ultimately the decision of where you land is on your shoulders and Maven has went to the dark sports and used those experiences to understand how he got there and how to fight it. A real role model of a guy
I haven't watched wrestling since 1991-1992. These pop up on my feed because my son loves WWE, but I find myself watching every one of your videos as soon as they show up. They're really well-done and interesting. 🌞 🌷

One idea and it's just something I'd personally love, have you considered doing like a "week in the life" video of what it was like as a WWE wrestler? Luckily, it looks as though WWE has become much more lenient when it comes to asking for time off, now that Triple H is in control. Sami Zayn being written off recently was later revealed to simply be a case of Sami asking for some personal time off, and from all reports Hunter realized that the talent should be given more time to spend with their family for special moments that they historically used to miss, like children's birthdays.
Some feel that Hunter's health scare not long ago made him further appreciate the limited time that we all have in life, so now the company is more willing to give talent those extra moments to be with their families, though I'm sure there are still limits to prevent people from taking advantage of that.
And Vince no longer being CEO their to a situation he and Brock Lesnar found themselves in problem makes that even easier

Its horrendous that asking for time off is the #1 thing to get you in trouble. Wrestlers are human, and this is a big reason wrestlers keep dying young. Its hard on the body, and takes years off life. Wrestling needs an off season.
You can thank Hulk Hogan for that. Jesse Ventura was trying to start a Union in the wrestling business, but Hogan snitched on him because he wanted to kiss Vince's ass. Now it's impossible to get it unionized.

Another one of Maven's stories reminded me of Nash sharing a piece of advice Rude told him. Rude said, "You got a wife?" Nash went "Yea." Rude said, "You wanna keep her?" Nash said, "Yea." And Rude said, "Well don't bring her backstage."
Having idolized a lot of wrestlers growing up and trying to get into the business myself, it's nice to learn about how WWE works behind the scenes

What I learn from all this videos (Great content btw) is that by signing a Wwe contract you are basically selling your soul to them.
You start living exclusively for the benefit of the company and you better forget about having your own life.
You must arrive 8 hours in advance, leave 3 hours late, kiss ass of anybody who has a higher status than you, pay for the traveling, hotels, food, etc.
You must risk your life by using roids to look good and to endure the injuries, and you are the one who will pay for them, not WWE.
Do not even dare to say something, or to ask for time off (unless your mother is dying), because they will fire you.
In other words, WWE takes full advantage of the person’s desire of becoming a WWE superstar, and makes him their slave.
“We will pay you enough money to make a decent living, and you can have the satisfaction of being a WWE superstar. In return we will own you 24/7 and you better forget about having a life outside of this company. Now you exist exclusively for this company and your only goal in life must be to make McMahon even more rich”
