Ray tracing looks much cleaner in a way that i can't explain it.
It's an accurate simulation of light. Plus all the blocks are now PBR meaning they are all physically based

You need an RTX card to run it and PS5 uses an AMD so I doubt you could use it even if they added full support it'd likely just come to Xbox series X

Yeah, most shaders give lava a VERY strong light intensity. I know in SEUS shaders you can adjust intensity.

without ray tracing it looks classical, with ray tracing obviously looks better, but sometimes its easier to play and build without it. Thats why on java edition i turn on the shaders only when im sight seeing all that ive built

I think it’s about time Minecraft finally adds new graphics. The normal graphics have gotten boring after so many years, so seeing this come to the next generation consoles will be a fresh beginning for the future of Minecraft.

I prefer shaders over regular RTX. For some reason, using shaders is easier on my eyes and reduces motion sickness. As for fan noise, not an issue at all for me. They hardly run.
I play Java & I have my shaders set up as close to bedrock rtx as I could get it. They looks sweet I can't go back to the old graphics
The glass was a bit glitchy with your ray tracing, but other than that, it was beautiful

Smooth lighting is like ray tracing to me, beside the fact i can't turn it on because my pc dies every time i do that
I usually used RTX on survival world and it looks good but on servers (hive) I use a PvP texture pack

It’s not ott or overboard realism. This is something I would enjoy. I’m a guy that doesn’t like originality taken out of games with overboard realism graphics but this looks good
Does anybody remember Minecraft Story mode the lava reminds me of it, it was way better than Minecraft dungeons and legacy.
Yeah Minecraft Story Mode lighting looks vibrant like minecraft with shaders, it is a beautiful game.

For low-ish end PCs, try Complementary Shaders, or for more FPS, Complementary Reimagined.

i like both. i like the rt look but only being able to generate 30 chunks instead of 100 is a sacrifice. I thought my 4070 ti super would be able to push 60 but not a chance, RT devours gpus.

Ironically using RTX gives you better performance in general, because you can use DLSS with RTX, and DLSS gives a really significant fps boost.

You mean better ray tracing. It's technically Bedrock thanks to it being fully path traced while performing better. Java's ray tracing shaders are more limited
I prefer Java, because I took Voxels Reimagined and stripped it down to run on a GTX card.
