How do you prep the natural nail? Do you just use the cuticle bit as you’re doing the cuticles?
I never thought to do the structure first then shape the nails! I always prep and file the shape then do then structure.
You can do it either way! ☺️ all about personal preference.

For some reason, whenever I do neon colors and then top coat I always get this weird tint of like blue that comes and goes. Can that possibly be under cure?
Is it pinks? Sometimes that can happen with neon pinks and it usually goes away after a day. If it’s all colors then it’s probably something with the top coat.

Hey! Love your content, and love that you teach a lot on hard/soft gel. So I'm a beginner and am a bit confused. Is the hard gel application to lengthen the nail for soft gel applications?
You can use hard gel for overlays on the natural nail, and you can also use it for extensions ☺️

@@evelyncastaneda7684 it depends on the soft gel. Some may not provide enough strength. Soft gel is usually for short to medium length nails
What’s the difference between hard gel and sculpting gel? They both look like they are in a jar and you apply with some sort of brush.
Hard gel would be a type of sculpting gel. Hard gel does not soak off in acetone and is typically stronger.
