to really drive the creepy thing home i would have used the get to work mirror-window item in the hallway, so the wall family could watch the regular family’s comings and goings. love the house though, beautiful!
Omg could yu imagine that in real life.?! Mad creepy!!!”
Lol very clever idea.
Oh yeah and to make it even creepier thats the wall familys only sorce of entertainment
wait thats a sick idea iloveit
haha I was thinking about a secret door thing like the one we have looking like a bookcase, could use it to make the family secretly coming out and steal stuff to sell from the other family hahahaha
You could always use the hidden bookshelf door and lock it for everyone but the family in the walls. That way they can sneak out into the main house lol
I was thinking maybe using the highschool years windows and the trelace. So they literally gotta climb in from the window.
@@christicat221b yea that would work too. :)
It‘s a good living space for a ghost family too, they can simply go through the walls.
i was thinking that, or create a basement tunnel that comes out in the corner of the lot and is covered by trees/plants!
@@jonahhermann4713 that’s the best idea yet! 🥇
We should indeed have a "death by no railing" death in the game. But with that, we should also have a "push down the stairs" option that may or may not result in death depending on the sims strength. Like if your sims physical strength is weak, then the sim won't die. Man. That'd definitely spice up the game a bit more lmao. They keep adding more ways to die anyway, why not?
Ong 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I honestly think that might be a little dark for TS4, could see it in a prev game tho, but maybe a strong dazed moodlet that stacks with other “accident” deaths like electrocution or cow plant so you’re more likely to die after falling?
The question is would you be able to push pregnant Sims down the stairs?👀
Great idea for a game that is targeted to children just as much as adults. 🤣🤣
I'm so here for Deli's trademark weird and twisty content 😆 She's so kind, light and bright but then surprise she's also a total weirdo. I absolutely love it.

Fake gamer girl did it first
@@sleepy-but-awake6928 Ok and?

Anyone else think this house and the “hidden family” would make a spicy Let’s Play?
The Mole people that lived in Jim Pickens’ walls would’ve been lucky to have this much space. They just had hallways with a toilet in them.
I was just thinking that lol
Immediately thought of Jim and the mole people too lol
Is mole 2 available to talk?
@@kraigtheimpaler 🤣
imagine the youngest sim in the main house making friends with the youngest sim in the hidden house and their parents thinking they just have an imaginary friend
I'd love to see like 5 different iterations of the Hidden Family challenge please!
I want people hidden in the walls, in the basement, in the attic, _imagine a family living under the pool_
oh wow that'd be so cool!!
They poke a little hole in the bottom to create a slow leak and use that to collect water for showering…
🦇🦇yes please!
You should read the book flowers in the attic 👀
Oooh this reminds me of Parasite! With a family living in secret in the basement of the rich family and scavenging off them.
omg yessss
Yes!!
Yesss
Came here to see if anyone said this and to add it if not! Made me think about Parasite too!
I loved that! ♥
Please do a let’s play with this build! You could incorporate some of the ideas from the comments like the bookshelf door and window from get to work to have a really cool and creepy story line like having the hidden family come out at night and using the main house whilst the others sleep or are at work.
I was looking for this comment. I think this would make a fun let's play!!
yesss
I literally just built a tiny home with a secret speakeasy mobster lounge underground and it was SO FUN. Obviously Deli and I are on the same wavelength 😂
I'm sure you did well

@@velvetmoss8279 wait this is a real story? What might it be called?
@@AriVirtual I actually use the Legacy Edition because I'm on an out-of-date Mac, so my use of the gallery is restricted 😭
Soulmates I reckon
FakeGamerGirl had a little series that was based on this idea. Bean was one of my favorite characters she created. lol. Bean grew up in the walls. I am so glad you found this fun, too, Deli!
wow! thank you for mentioning fakegamergirl. I looked her up to see this build you were talking about. but I didn't find it, HOWEVER OMGGGGG I found soooooooooo many good video's! Its nice to listen to a youtuber my own age. I really love herrrr so thank you~ I might of never found her (because she is not as popular) with out the mention! =D ♥♥♥
@@jacquiewiegand6323 The title is "There are PEOPLE Living in the WALLS?!". It was the introduction of Bean. Bean has been a long time favorite of mine. Even got a spinoff of Bean and Janine. (Janine is like FGG's arch nemisis in sims form, if you haven't been "blessed" with her presence. lol)
@@PoeticMisfortune yuh i have to watch more older videos cuz i have no idea what yer talking about! =D
To push it even further, I'd probably build a 1 by 1 passage in the attic, this way you could have a room on the other side of the house too and probably keep everything 2squares large. Or go the easyway and make a secret basement that could go out in the back of the lot, hidden by bushes or something.
Or, hear me out, use the new HSY ladders so they can climb down by a "condemned" window.
I bet it would be pretty easy to actually hide a secret apartment between two apartments in an apartment building. I mean how many people visit their neighbours enough to ever realize the walls don’t match up?
I feel like the hidden section could be hidden really well in the middle of a set of row houses.
As a kid I used to think an identical version of my family came out and lived in my house at night. This kinda reminded me of that 😳
This is even more terrifying because sims have to teleport in and then have no way out. Imagine if you just randomly teleported into the walls of this perfect family’s house with no escape 😳
Deli living in Australia getting excited because it's getting warmer there, me living in Spain loving that it's getting colder here, same energy but different ✨
At first I thought it would be more of a WW2 situation with a secret space to stay safe. Not a whole family just chilling in between the walls 😂
That would make sense. Hiding a second living space from visitors is a lot more realistic than hiding it from the people who live there, unless you make the walls castle-or-palace-wall thickness (castles had thick walls to make them stronger and thus easier to defend, and palaces often had double walls with a space between them to conceal corridors that the servants would use to move around unseen).
Such a fun idea, I love secret passageways! I'm getting instant memories of 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' along with the creepy horror movie "The Boy!"
The "secret" kitchen has a sink, but the main kitchen doesn't! That's interesting 😆
Ooohhhh hahaha
Imagine the main family thinking about doing some renovations, they go to tear down a wall and surprise surprise 😀😅😭🫥
Deli built a better house whilst multitasking and using one hand than I can with two hands and full concentration 😂📱🥕

You could make a "coat closet" by the front door thats actually the entrance to the secret rooms - The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe-esque.
I would wonder how they got that fridge and stove up the ladder, but it also doesn't matter! Maybe a vampire could live in the walls, and they wouldn't need a door at all...
Such a unique idea. I would have incorporated a basement! A good opportunity to add more space for the walls family.
I'd have done an attic- hide the rooms in the roof
"Hello, is Mole 2 available to talk?"
- a reference to/inside joke from Call Me Kevin's Sims 2 videos with people living in the walls.
I love that you use CC :) I can't afford to buy all the packs, and I love being able to pick and choose which CC options to include in my own builds. Thanks for mentioning the table and painting creators! I'll have to check them out ♥️
agree with this... sometimes CC is the "affordable "option when there's no ea sales haha
Yeah but us console players get sad… we honestly miss out on soo much
I'm definitely IN for such an interesting idea xD My first thought was... "Is Deli going to build in the Sims this masterpiece of a house from Parasite movie?" xD And even though I was wrong, maybe this could be a hint for the future, @Deligracy? ;) And I definitely recommend you all to watch this film, it's a marvel!
yes, it was interesting

@@Sapphicrose hi, i also build in the sims, i have two videos on the channel, would be grateful for the initial support of the channel ❤️
Munching-carrot-Deli is someone we love, she's adorable, like a squirrel or a bunny 🤗
fr she gave me bunny vibes, but I decided not to comment on it in case it came across as body shame-y or something
@@michipeachy69 body shaming? Deli has a great body and she's beautiful and squirrels and bunnies are the cutest
This is such a creative idea! You are a very inspiring person Deli. Thanks for another excellent video!
I like when CZcamsrs include the whole process of builds, even if it means including the bulldozing process. I'm definitely one to bulldoze a house if I'm not liking the vibe of it. Very relatable 🙂 Loved this!
i would loooooove to see your take on maximalism! it's one of my favourite styles and i'd love to see how you pull it off! your style has influenced my builds so much over the years to be cleaner and brighter and more minimal, i'd love to see you do the total opposite! especially with the maximalism kit and those terrazzo counters!
I think a good idea for adding passageways for the hidden family is to connect via basement or third floor that the regular house doesn’t have access to. This looks so fun to build I’m definitely going to try this challenge!!
Imagine walking inside the house and suddenly you hear a toilet flush next to you, sus 😂
I really really love that you use CC in your builds because I always need some inspiration on how to use the CC items and with what 🥰
You should make a bookshelf door but lock it so only the wall family can use it. Then they can use the main family's stuff, but they can't ever meet each other, or game over. It would be an interesting challenge where you have to complete a skills based lifetime wish for every wall sim without them ever being caught by the house sims
If I were living in the hidden space, I would make a national sport of making weird noises to scare the people in the house, and would keep a record of how many families I've scared off enough to move out. It would be so much fun !! 😁
I’ve been in a sims slump and watching you + finding you had really pulled me out!! Thank you Deli!! Can’t believe what I’ve been missing!
This idea is next level!! I love it and it definitely grabbed my attention! ❤️❤️
Loved this idea, so much possibility for intrigue!
Wes Craven- The People Under the Stairs is my immediate thought! Lol love Wes (RIP❤️) and love this video! Brings me back to the old videos from Deli that were dark and twisty and fun that I love so much! ❤️
I reckon a window they can sneak out from of from the high school pack would be good.
And a computer and hacking into the wifi would be awesome.
The food crossing over fridges is going to be super strange.
Is this a scam?
AYAY new Deli video!!! can't wait! you brighten up life Deli
It’s great deli, very Poe-esque. Now you have to put a beating heart under the floorboards.
We need a Let's Play of this twisted household 😆
This is super inventive and awesome! I would have never thought of something like this but it's really cool idea!
ohmygosh DELI! this house reminds me of the movie Parasite! it’s a korean (i believe) movie basically kinda based on a couple living in a house without anyone knowing!
if you give it a watch it would be cool to maybe see you build that house, it has such a stunning interior and is definitely something you would build!! give it a watch!! it’s SO GOOD 😭
One of my favourite videos, hope you can make another one with the same twist
I'd like to see more build videos from you, Deli, and it's always fun with a twist like this😄
Excited about this video! Go Deli!!!
for how the family got into the walls maybe you could have a tunnel basement type deal that comes out in the backyard or a shed that's never used.
I could watch deli all day, in fact I do often 😂
Hi
If you love The Sims you might want to start following my work ❤️
I'm starting my Sims channel, there are a lot of fresh ideas, I would be pleased to see you among the subscribers, there are a lot of interesting things ahead on the Sims 3 and Sims 4 series
This was cool, reminds me of something Call Me Kevin might do, in fact, he did, he called people mole people, but I think he did it even in The Sims 2, not The Sims 4, this was not that long ago, but I'm not sure if it was TS2 or TS4, lol!
This has inspired me to try to do this too, I have thought about doing this, but I know it will be hard and really time consuming, and I already take hours to finish a normal house, not to mention my Sims!
I'm the type of Sim player that likes doing both, playing in CAS and in Build Buy mode, though I think I like CAS a bit more, because I know I'm good at making unusual Sims, my houses are always a hit or miss, sometimes I do well enough that it makes me wonder if I really made it myself, lol! Other times I wish someone else had! I am usually better at changing premade builds from someone else, then starting from scratch!
It's starting to cool down here in Canada, and I'm so excited! 😁
This reminds me so much of the movie Parasite!
Putting an easel in the hidden room reminds me of something I read years ago, of someone who always made a 'painting goblin' sim who lived in the family basement and did nothing with their time but paint for the benefit of the main family. This would be the perfect house for that.
Deli, you are the best simmer by far! You and your videos are so feel-good.
Kinda off topic but i always like watching other people build and furnish houses because of all the cc they have. As someone who plays on consol and cant get all the fun cc, i always like seeing whats out there.
I love this concept!
Hi just wanted to send you some kind words and say I appreciate your content. ❤️ please keep creating
I would LOVE to see you play with this house!! It looks great
Helloo have a wonderful day and enjoy Delis video💕
Even though it took multiple tries, thank you for finishing this build! It's really cool!
This should take place of the high school years LP as the new LP!!! It would be SO fun to see you play through this
It’s an awesome idea and an awesome build! But I would add a basement leading to the secret room. And maybe even a secret entrance to the basement, hidden under the bush or under a little hill.
2:42 this is why I love Deli
Could you imagine the secret family having access to a basement or attic. Maybe your sims find out about the family by seeing one of them staring out the attic window. Or they just think it's a ghost since they "don't have an attic"
Before watching, may I just say that it’s such a Deli title for the video! 👏🏻😆 Luv it.
You could have taken your original idea of two separate spots and have them linked via ladders through an attic. The door of perception would be a way to give access to the hidden area.
i love this one this is so funny such a creative idea
Love this build and the creepy add to it. Can you do a craftsman family home autumn coloured.
I shared my room with my older sister for about 10 years and hated. I love having my own room. This build was so fun and cool.
im loving the "unusual" building videos yaaaas
If Deli didn’t post instagram stories of herself outside all the time I’d be a little concerned about her living situation with James. 😆 Great idea for a vid! So unique and fun.
I love that you did the face camera after all, showing the real deal haha :D
Its COOLING OFF here in Chicago and I'm SO EXCITED!! I love fall!
I loved this video deli. You are so good at making sims houses look good 👍
I remember seeing fgg make a video like this and thought the concept was cool! Then deligracy made one too?! Yesss!
Lovely video
This is suck a cool idea!! Cant wait to see it done!
I feel like you could put a secret basement in for part of it, then a tunnel coming up in the garden shed to get in and out in secret. You'd have to lock the main house doors to the secret family sims, and the secret doors would have to be locked to the main house sims. The only time you hear anything through a wall in the sims is in City Living apartments. They're very sound proof.
What about adding one of the secret bookcase doors where the upstairs library wall is? That would give your hidden Sims an entry point and adds a slightly sinister twist to how/why they got in there.
This would be a great series!!
Amazing idea 😱
I love the idea that the family living in the walls are vampires! That way, the fact that they don't have windows isn't much of an issue!
Massive fan hope you have an amazing weekend!! Hi from Australia too!!
It's starting to cool down here in the northern US! I looooove fall so I'm excited
What a fun build!
Great build! Well hidden second tiny living space. Now I kinda want to watch you make two families and play the challenge. I’ve seen different players do it differently. Fakegamergirl did it to where the family in the walls isn’t allowed to come out so long as the other family is awake and in the house and she could only play with the family in the walls. The goal was to not get caught being out in the rest of the house by the other family. Another player I saw did it differently. They played the main family instead of the one in the walls and had set it up so that both had jobs, school, etc, so had to leave the house. The challenge would end if his sims during routing to do those things met up with the family in the walls. Another person played it as the family in the walls, but since they had what they needed to survive it was about starting chaos for the other family (starting fires, breaking things, stealing things, etc) and not getting caught in the act. I think the house you built is the best I’ve seen in that from both inside and out it looks like a normal house and the area the in-the-walls family lives doesn’t stand out when looking at the house inside or outside. Some players used the hidden door that looks like a bookcase in their builds, but others used the teleport cheat that you mentioned. Since it’s two families (usually a mom, dad, and two kids [or a teen and a kid] plus another mom, dad, and either one or two kids [or kid and teen] it makes either a challenge to get them all back into the wall without getting caught or not having them route near each other and get caught, etc. It’d be interesting to see you put your own spin on the challenge, too.
I love this!
You should totally do a gameplay with this house where a vampire or something like that live in the walls and then a “normal” family moves in because they think it’s a normal place but then a lot of wired stuff will happen 😃
This is such a neat idea! I wanna try! 😅
I think this would be a cool lp idea! Playing two families, one in the walls and the other main one. Or maybe just there is a random sim living in the walls while there is a family home?
You know you’re stressed building when the headphones come off 😂 I love creepy builds! Love to see more ❤
when i tell you ive never wanted to live in a house as much as i want to live in this one, its a masterpiece.
I never thought I’d like corrugated iron walls! But that looks fantastic. I’m secretly relieved that I’m not the only person with an umm “interesting” imagination. Family in the walls is wonderfully warped! Lol
"Man, it really looks a lot bigger from the outside haha"
I absolutely love this ♥️♥️♥️ Iam all for dark and creepy.
With my sims, the wall family would start a fire within the first five minutes and then die because they can't escape and just scream at the fire instead of extinguishing it....
