This looks like a blast! I love that it's very much in the original Half-Life Black Mesa style. I appreciate that it really does benefit from specialization and teamwork. I would love to play this at a LAN party. It's going on my wishlist for one day. :)

Regular flashlights are pretty plentiful, and there are even some better ones, generally desk lamps (as all night lighting that is power free and easy to place places) are more useful as ground markers for long expeditions, hazardous farming areas, and base navigation. After a while night farming is a thing thats needed
I have been playing the demos since the first test, this game is great and each test you get access to way more content. And they are even pretty fast at catching bugs
the gun says 0/12 bullets, did you try reloading it? or maybe you need to craft some kind of clip? or maybe it's a glitch, Either way it seems the issue is a lack of bullets in the gun. Dunno why it doesn't just say you need to reload though

Each demo release has added a whole chapter of explorable content
There is an easy to miss repairable stove in the lunchroom near the cubicles, there are also about 20 permanently on gas stove tops around the corner from the first coffee room, in that kitchen with the roller door (they even work at night)
Grinding your skills to max in this game really pays dividends, especially str (free food and drink from all vending machines, not coffee tho), just cary weight in the middle load level as you move. in multiplayer you likely should specialize early. Should also have everyone run laps until you get full running skill.
Make sure to read the passives of gear, passives are often more important than stats
You generally need about 3 batteries per device to last through the night, tho some devices do use more power
There is proximity repair, but proximity crafting is apparently tied to a level of crafting we cannot currently reach
Funny enough the starting coffee break room is one of the best bases in the game until quite far in
Btw make sure to have a chef chop up a player body, there is some… unique loot
Im trying my best not to give spoilers and stuff, but man am i screaming over some items being wasted on things that they should not go into lol, oh well, im sure it will be noticed… eventually
