Dude you have no idea how useful your videos have been for me. Thanks
Great info here, thanks for this. Helped me out with a job interview. Had no idea what 'SaaS' was, until you explained it, then I realized I have several years experience supporting/using it.
I love the way you explained the SaaS concept from a layman's perspective. It is clear, engaging and at the end I understood the concept. I am glad, I found this after several videos and articles that did not help me much. (Oh and this might be my first ever comment on CZcams)
I can listen to you all the day ! I didn't notice I have sitting and listening for more than 30 mins ! YOU ARE AMAZING

This really useful, especially when it comes to executive recruitment in technology. Cheers Eli.
You are such a great teacher! SaaS is a technology bug. Too many drawbacks. Wish a CEO-man have enough money to make it all locally hosted and not cloud hosted.

Great information on SaaS especially its benefits and drawbacks. The drawbacks may scare the listener even though the benefits are really really great.

Excellent Video - I have been in IT, Web Dev for many years building portals and search engines and so for years. This SAAS stuff is a thin client environment that Sun Microsystem developed years ago. Which now is on the forefront for some crazy reason lol
as a newbee to IT and a student at age 41 trying to better myself financially and professionally by breaking away from my manufacturing career of 20+ years to a more rewarding and satisfying career in IT, I love your you tube training vids!!!!! Thanks for all the great videos. One question, though. I see a lot of introduction lessons on your channel, and quite few intermediary and practical videos. Will you make continuations for your introductory videos, or are you solely focusing on introducing various topics?
Good tips. Thx.
Eli should teach college courses, very engaging video!
Awesome!!
Thanks Eli
Awesome, thanks a lot!
Hi Ivan, I saw your comment here. just want to say Hi and maybe you can watch some of my videos. you can learn a lot from it :)
Great sir Thanks
Thank you so much
Hi Eli,
How much would you guess it takes to start a SaaS company? I've been trying to look into it and keep finding crazy ranges. I get that it would vary based on a lot of factors but was just curious if you could ballpark it.
Saas is like stream gaming client broadcast play when another computer dose the processing but your playing it remotely for an another computer.
You Rock Eli :) Great lesson, will never forget SAAS :)
Your videos are the best Eli! Thank you for these concise explanations!
Thanks for your sharing, my company has interests to learn on saas service. what is the key to service the clients? and how the service should be given. wondering if you teach the saas service? Looking forward to your reply.
you just saved my hours of studying...
what if I' m selling SaaS that is a yearly based subscription with upfront payment Eli. It would comfort/help me if it was according to the model your talking about lol i.e monthly and over a certain lifespan as opposed to all upfront
Hi Eli, all your videos are very informative and learned a lot.Can you please make tutorial on honeypot and honeynet, if possible with the best free version of windows base honeypot. thank you for all your wonderful work!
It is a very good introduction of SaaS, however the content can be more condensed, hence the duration can be shorter. Thank you
awesome
Thanks, I understood it better know that i hear it.
do you have an explanation on Market Driven Cloud Architecture
What happens if I have contracted SaaS for a year with monthly payments and I cannot make one of my payments?
I am assuming there is "a grace period", but if that is passed as well, the Vendor will cut-off the service. In this particular case, I loose not only de service but the data as well - correct?
Is there a client-protection clause/rule that will prevent the Vendor from deleting all data for a given period of time? (until, let's say, i can pay my monthly fees again :) )
Bigger issues with Saas are security as it's no longer under your control.
Instead you must trust the SaaS provider and some are not very good at it and the Russian and Chinese hackers have been getting pretty good as of late.
A little tin foil hat there may be back doors for the NSA as well.
Then there's availability if it's your accounting or sales software an internet outage can totally ruin your day.
Then there's the issue SaaS companies are not very profitable and there's will be another dot com crash as the IT tech industry is in a bubble.
If the company goes under you loose your services.
