@@DennisIvy sure you can but if I have htmx on the frontend and I want to add some attrs to the form I have to do it from my Python code which would make my developer brain go WTH lol

It's been so long and Unfortunately I have switched to react for frontend and just use Django strictly for my backend and api 😅
That’s actually a great choice. Most of my projects are React + Django still
@@DennisIvy my only issue with react is when I finally learn something new I go online and see that's the old way of doing things
There are just too many Hooks that do the same thing
Now everybody is talking about react 19 and I just finally understood when to use memo and callback 😭😂
@@slliks4don’t stress learning the newest thing. I haven’t even touched react 19 yet. Just try to use something relatively modern (react 18 is fine) and learn the new features incrementally.
There’s this bad idea everyone has that they need the newest feature. New features are cool but often times they need to be tested still, so there is benefit in waiting. Also, companies usually don’t adopt these new features for a while. Content creators like me like to talk about the new stuff because it’s fun and we like to explore, but we don’t accurately represent the industry.

It would be great to see what you think is the best way to apply css styles to these “as_group” fields. I prefer putting style information in the HTML template rather than in the django code, but perhaps there’s a trick I don’t know!

is there anything new regarding widgets because I am more into widgets and controlling the form from its base file. I hope they are considering simplifying the usage of widgets as it is a little bit complicated still.
